We have been waiting with bated breath to hear if the Hangout Festival is returning to Gulf Shores, and this week, we learned that Morgan Wallen will have the Sand in My Boots Music Festival here!!
A whole new concert festival is coming to town from Morgan Wallen and AEG Presents (known for producing Stagecoach and Hangout Music Festival).

Tickets sold out for the first round in about two hours. However, they do have a waitlist, so make sure to sign up for that!

Things to know to help plan your trip to Gulf Shores
May Weather
Gulf Shores and Orange Beach enjoy gorgeous Spring and early summer weather in May, with temperatures ranging from 70 to 85 degrees.
Water temperatures in the Gulf of Mexico rise by 7 degrees, going from 73°F to 80°F over the month.
The festival will happen rain or shine, so we will monitor the weather as the event approaches to help you plan.
Accessibility
The concert website states that the event is accessible. Throughout the event, accessible routes will connect parking, entrances, ADA Viewing areas, food and beverage vendors, and merchandise.
You must bring your own wheelchair or scooter to the event. Rentals are not available.
ADA Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be an ADA entry lane at each festival entry.
The festival will have an ADA Access Center, which you must stop into to pick up an ADA Wristband.
Trained service animals are permitted throughout the venue.

Closest Airport to Gulf Shores
The closest airport to Gulf Shores is Pensacola International Airport (PNS), which is a 45-minute drive away.
Pensacola International Airport offers direct nonstop service to and from Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Tampa, and Washington, D.C.
Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) is 90 minutes away and has direct flights from Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, and Houston.
New Orleans International Airport is 3 hours away.
