San Carlos is a great option for a family beach vacation, multi-generational trip, girlfriends' getaway, bachelorette group, or really anyone looking for easy access to the beach in the heart of Gulf Shores.
I love the balcony views from San Carlos. They look out over the Gulf and the beaches of Gulf Shores down to the Gulf State Park Pier.
The complex is close to great local Gulf Shores restaurants and things to do, but far enough away that you can enjoy the sounds of the Gulf from the balcony.

San Carlos has units across 18 floors in 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, and penthouse configurations. All units have private balconies with Gulf views, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TVs, and fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers. Units are individually owned and furnished.

Direct Beach Access
San Carlos Condos have direct beach access via an elevated boardwalk over the sand dunes.
Do not walk in the sea oats, they are fragile and protected.
Awnings and tents with more than 1 pole must be north of the designated poles behind the beach chairs.
Make sure to check the daily beach warning flags before entering the Gulf.
Zero Entry Outdoor Pool
San Carlos has a gorgeous zero-entry pool with deck chairs around the pool deck. The gradual zero-entry slope makes it accessible and comfortable for all ages. Pool hours are 9 AM to 10 PM. No glass containers at the pool.
Exercise Room/Gym
The San Carlos fitness center offers great views out to the Gulf of Mexico. A sauna is also available on the property.
A beach volleyball court is available near the beach access.

Pets - Pets are not allowed at San Carlos.
Smoking - There is no smoking in common areas, including on balconies. There is a designated smoking area near the BBQ and the East end of the parking garage.
Accessibility - There are accessible parking spaces near the entrance to the complex. Elevators are available to reach each floor of the building. Each individual unit is seperately owned. Please check to see if the unit matches your specific needs.
