Tammilee and John have been blogging since 2009. Tammilee started with TammileeTips.com when she lost her corporate job. As the site grew they expanded and created ParkRangerJohn.com for John to share his 20 year experience as a park ranger.

After falling in love with Gulf Shores and Orange Beach on a press trip years ago we made the move across country to live in Gulf Shores year-round.
Gulf Coast Journeys is focused on sharing the amazing restaurants, attractions, and the beach lifestyle found along the Gulf Coast.
We believe in sharing the hidden gems, the forgotten coasts, and the unexpected joys that can be found in big and small towns along the Gulf Coast.

As of October 2025, we have reached over 51 million views on our Gulf Coast Journeys content via social media and blog posts since January 1, 2025.
We are seeing an amazing increase in views and engagement in 2025.
In 2024, we had over 20 million views during the year. This year, we are hoped to double that and we are well past it now.
