When we first started visiting Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, we decided we would try and find the best coffee shops to relax with a chai tea and a hot cup of coffee.

We are always looking for places where we can work with free Wi-Fi, relax in the air conditioning, and recharge with some much-needed caffeine.

Southern Grind Coffee House - Orange Beach

Southern Grind has two coffee shops in Orange Beach, One at the Wharf and one at Hotel Indigo.

Both locations offer delicious coffee, sweets, and great shopping for beach-inspired decorations.

They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and coffee all in one seriously cute Orange Beach Coffee Shop.

Be prepared to want to redecorate your entire house with all of the coastal home decor and gifts available. They also have amazing jewelry.

Happy Pappys Coffee House - Gulf Shores

Happy Pappy's Coffee Shop in Gulf Shores is locally owned and operated. This small coffee shop features an amazing atmosphere that is so relaxing.

They have comfy chairs, great food including light bites, Greek pastries, and lunch fares. This Gulf Shores coffee shop is perfect for getting a bit of work done, relaxing with a great book, or catching up with friends.

Menu Highlights - Authentic Greek pastries, delicious coffee espresso drinks, tea, and more.

Tyroptia - Greek cheese pie made with phyllo dough and feta cheese.

Avocado Toast - Fresh avocado on Organic Good seed toast with freshly squeezed lemon juice and toasted sesame seeds.

Coffee drinks include - Classic Espresso, cappuccino, latte, "skinny" latte, Cafe Au Lait, Cold brew, mocha, micro brewed tea, Chai latte, and more.

Specialty desserts can include Tiramisu, Cannoli, New York Cheesecake, Sea Salt Caramel Cheesecake, Cookies, and more.

Foam Coffee - Gulf Shores

Foam Coffee Shop in Gulf Shores is so cute! From the outdoor swing and patio seating to the inside with small tables and a killer vibe. We love relaxing with the great outdoor seating.

Their spicy iced chai is one of my favorite drinks. I would happily stop in daily if I could get away with it.

They have fresh, locally roasted coffee, snacks, smoothies, and more. Located in the heart of Gulf Shores this is the perfect coffee shop to relax in.

Menu Highlights - spicy chai, café au lait, cortado, Cuban latte, matcha latte, turmeric latte, beetroot latte, chagaccino, and loose leaf tea.

Beach Girl Coffee - Gulf Shores

Beach Girl Coffee is our favorite drive through coffee shop in Gulf Shores. Conveniently located on Gulf Shores Parkway you can easily grab a iced coffee or blended treat on your way into town or the beach.

This Gulf Shores Coffee Shop has everything you could want in a small cute package. They have a ton of flavors, an epic menu, and fun energy.

BuzzCatz Coffee and Sweets - Orange Beach

BuzzCatz is a local favorite for breakfast, coffee, and epic sweet treats. Their patio is pet-friendly and perfect for relaxing.

Make sure to get there early, especially on weekends! This local Orange Beach breakfast restaurant is Popular!

We love getting an amazing breakfast and coffee while savoring their outdoor space or fun indoor atmosphere.

If you like cats, you will love their decorations!

Southern Shores Coffee - Gulf Shores

This independently-owned artisan coffee roaster in the heart of Gulf Shores has epic drinks in a great location.

Pick up fair trade coffee beans for your Gulf Coast condo or to bring home with you. Made in small batches their coffee is fantastic.

This Gulf Shores Coffee Shop menu includes espresso drinks, iced drinks, and frappes. They also serve breakfast sandwiches and lunch items.

Menu Highlights - Bushwacker Frappe with rum flavoring (There is no alcohol in the drink)! Cuban Latte, Chai Tea, Butterbeer Frappe, Frozen Hot Chocolate, s'mores Frappe and more!

They have a ton of flavors so you can choose a specific flavor or two to make your dream coffee.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii - Orange Beach

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is a small coffee shop in Orange Beach. They have a couple of tables available for relaxing.

You do not want to miss their iced drinks with coffee ice cubes. They also have an amazing chai tea.

There was a bit of local friction of the name of this Orange Beach coffee shop  but don't let that stop you from enjoying their epic coffee drinks.

The shop is named after the donkeys found on the Big Island of Hawaii who help move coffee beans.

Menu Highlights - 100% Kona coffee, espresso drinks, an epic Chai tea, and Coffee Ice Cubes!

Breakfast and Lunch sandwiches are served on King's Hawaiian sweet bread! Check out these epic breakfast sandwiches

Aloha Sandwich - Ham, egg, Swiss cheese, pineapple, and BBQ glaze served on Kings Hawaiian sweet bread.

Beach Bums Menu includes coffee and tea drinks, kids drinks, and breakfast and lunch menu items.

Drink Menu Highlights - Cafe au lait, americano, cappuccino, latte, cold brew, Cuban coffee, chai tea latte (Oregon Chai), Matcha, white mocha, caramel macchiato, cold brew frap, affogato, Frappuccino (caramel, mocha, or white chocolate).

Breakfast menu highlights - breakfast burritos (Bacon or sausage), island avocado toast, strawberry Nutella toast, peanut butter banana toast, and banana nutella toast.

Lunch Menu Highlights - Club sandwich, BLT, Ham or turkey panini, peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese, chicken quesadilla, chicken salad croissant, blackened chicken wrap, or a Ft. Morgan Wrap.

Surf Skate Coffee - Gulf Shores

Surf Skate Coffee is located inside of Tambos Surf Shack in Pelican Place. The coffee shop is in the back of the store just past the skate ramp.

This is a great space for parents to relax while their kids check out the skateboard ramp.

They offer surfing and skate boarding camps and lessons.

Menu Highlights - hot espresso drinks including cappuccino's, latte's, americano's, mocha, and more. Chait tea and matcha tea lattes.

Roasted Oak at The Lodge at Gulf State Park

Located near the lobby of the The Lodge at Gulf State Park is a fantastic coffee counter! If you are attending an event at the conference center or staying in this great hotel we highly suggest picking up your favorite coffee drink.

Menu Highlights - During the morning they serve drip coffee, Americano, Espresso, Cafe Au Lait, Latte, Macchiato, Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino, a Banana Strawberry Smoothie, Chai Tea, and Frappe in Chocolate or White Chocolate.

In the evening this coffee bar turns into a wine and cocktail bar with craft beer, wine and cocktails.
