LuLu's Restaurant in Gulf Shores is an attraction all its own! It isn't a trip to the Gulf Coast until you have had at least one meal at Lulu's.

This family-friendly restaurant is perfect for all ages. There is a ropes course, sandy play area, and more to entertain kids.

Teenagers can battle it out in the arcade or take a climb up the Mountain of Youth.

Adults will love the great food, epic cocktails, and live music along with knowing that everyone is entertained.

I am going to admit that I would visit LuLu's just for the tortilla chips, white queso, and salsa. I like to mix them together to create my own salsa queso dip that is delicious.

Plan for crazy fun in paradise while visiting! Lucy Buffett's LuLu is a fun place to enjoy a little escapism for the day.

My husband tells me that the fish sandwich at LuLu's is one of the best he has had anywhere in the world. It is always cooked perfectly.

We both agree that you can't leave LuLu's without a slice of Key Lime Pie. It is perfection!

Indoor Seating

There is quite a bit of indoor seating spread over two levels including tables along the Intercoastal Waterway.

The restaurant has window covers if needed to keep the rain out but most days there is a fantastic breeze going through the restaurant that makes it really comfortable.

Indoor Bar

The indoor bar has seating at the bar and nearby. They offer a full bar with a ton of classic tropical drinks and LuLu's specialty drinks.

This is one of our favorite bars in Gulf Shores.

Lulus Gulf Shores Menu

One thing we love about LuLu's Gulf Shores Menu is how allergen friendly they are. They have not only their regular menu but also a Gluten Free menu, dairy-free menu,  Shellfish free, egg-free, soy-free, seafood-free, and sesame & nut-free menu.

Just ask your server and they will bring you an allergy/dietary-friendly menu.

Menu Highlights

There are so many epic dishes we could highlight from the LuLu's menu. From the burgers to shrimp tacos or fish tacos to oysters to chicken fingers to the Key West Bowl and so many more.

Don't worry if you have any dietary restrictions LuLu's is the place to go! They have multiple menus specific to different allergens. The whole family can find something amazing to enjoy at LuLu's.

There are so many allergy-friendly choices! The staff does amazing job of making sure everyone is taken care of.

If you have an allergy a manager will come and take your order along with making sure it is cooked in their allergy friendly kitchen,

From Gulf Coast classics like fried okra to baskets of shrimp and fish.

Key Lime Pie - I NEED you to get a slice of this decadent and oh so delicious Key Lime Pie. It will transport you to Key West from the 1st bite.

Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding - Yes, you read that correctly! A bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme Donuts!

L.A. (Lower Alabama) Caviar - Black-Eyed peas in balsamic vinaigrette

Fried Green Tomatoes - Served with LuLu's Wow Sauce

Shrimp and Grits - Shrimp and Andouille Sausage in a Tasso and Tomato Cream Sauce, served with Gouda Grits.

Jerk Chicken Sandwich - Grilled chicken tenders marinated in LuLu's own Southern Jerk seasoning topped with bacon, grilled pineapple, and Swiss Cheese. Served with honey mustard.

Crazy Sista's Crab Dip - Sweet Claw Meat, Swiss and Cheddar Cheeses, Green Onions, and Mayo. Served bubbling hot in a mini cast iron skillet, with Fried Flour Tortilla Chips

LuLu's Famous Seafood Gumbo - The Roux is hand-stirred "until your arm falls off."

Seafood favorites include shrimp, oysters, grouper, mahi mahi, crab claws, and more.

Smoked Tuna Dip - In house smoked yellow fin tuna

The Pa-menna Cheeseburger - The "Pa-menna" Cheeseburger includes a juicy seared burger with LuLu's salty pepper seasoning blend, topped with "pa-menna" cheese (pimento), bacon, and a fried green tomato.

Kids Menu - The kid's menu includes a kid's cheeseburger, grilled or fried fish, grilled or fried shrimp, grilled or fried chicken tenders, a cheese or chicken quesadilla, and a kid's mac and cheese.

All of the kid's menu items are served with seasonal fruit mix, green beans, or French fries.

Gluten-Free - LuLu's has a complete Gluten-Free menu. All Gluten-free food is made in an allergen-friendly kitchen.

Vegan - The restaurant has a dairy-free menu. there are salads and sides that are vegan. The salsa is delicious!

Vegetarian - I always order chips and salsa with queso or a grilled cheese sandwich with fries. They also offer nachos, quesadillas, big salads, veggie tacos, and great sides.

If you order a salad there are fantastic homemade dressings to choose from including LuLu's Ginger Lime, LuLu's Ranch, Bleu Cheese, Honey Mustard, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Greek and Oil & Vinegar

Signature Cocktails - LuLu's World Famous Bushwacker is always delicious!

You can enjoy a Crazy Sista Bloody Mary, Bama Breeze, Loopty Lu, and more.

They also have a nice selection of beers.

Jet Ski Killer - Spiced Rum, Cruzan Coconut Rum,
Blue Curacao, Banana Puree and Pina Colada mix. OR Served on the Rocks.

LuLus Gulf Shores Gift Shop

If you are looking for a souvenir to remember your Gulf Shores Orange Beach vacation you will definitely want to check out the gift shop.

They have everything from branded LuLus shirts to Crazy Sista attire, Lucy Buffet Cookbooks, and so much more.

We always find something to bring home with us when we explore the gift shop.

Ropes Course

There are two ropes courses at the Gulf Shores LuLus the Mountain of Youth and the Munchkin Mountain.

Mountain of Youth - This three-story ropes course includes tight rope walking, climbing, and epic views.

Guests must be 4 feet tall (48 inches) and weigh less than 300 pounds. There is a cost to climb the Mountain of Youth.

Munchkin Mountain - The smaller ropes course is open for guests under 4 feet tall (48 inches) who are accompanied by an adult. There is a fee for this course.

The ropes courses may be closed due to weather. Participants must wear shoes that have a back or backstrap. Heels, platforms, and flip-flops are not allowed on the ropes courses.

Shorts must be worn under a skirt or dress.

Guests must be able to safely fit in the harness.

There are Adirondack Chairs spread around the sand that offer the opportunity to relax with a view of the ropes courses.

Beach Arcade

Enjoy playing new and old-school arcade games!

Caricature Artist

During Spring Break and the summer season, you can get a caricature done to commemorate your visit.

Groups of all sizes are welcome so you can get the entire family done in a caricature.

Hair Wraps and Henna

Check out the hair wraps, all-natural organic henna, and glitter and airbrush tattoos.

Events/Holidays

LuLu's Restaurant knows how to celebrate holidays and events! They host amazing events year-round.

We have celebrated Mardi Gras at LuLu's and it is fantastic.

There was a Mardi Gras boat parade, tons of beads, live music, and fun!

They also host an Easter Egg Dash, Tropical Vow Renewal, LuLu's Noon Year's Eve, Lighted Boat Parade, Billy Clause around Christmas, BooLu's around Halloween, movie nights, and more!

LuLu's is a first come first-serve restaurant. Make sure your entire party is there.

Accessibility - The restaurant has ramps and main floor dining.

Plus Size Seating - The seats do not have arms, but they do have both high-top and regular tables.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual

Pets - The restaurant is not pet friendly.

Parking  - There is a nice size parking area next to the restaurant. That being said don't be surprised if it is packed. They have a parking attendant at times who will help you with parking if it is busy.
