Located just down from the sugar white beaches on Gulf Shores Parkway, Spoonz was voted Best of Baldwin for Best Ice Cream in both 2024 and 2025, and once you watch the mesmerizing rolling process and taste your personalized ice cream creation, you'll understand why.
What makes Spoonz special is the interactive, customizable experience. Instead of choosing from pre-made ice cream flavors, you select your mix-ins (fruits, candies, cookies, sauces, etc.), watch as they're mashed and chopped together on an ultra-cold metal plate, then witness the satisfying moment when the liquid cream mixture is spread thin, frozen solid, and carefully rolled into beautiful ice cream spirals that stand up in your cup. It's part performance, part dessert, and completely delicious.
