Living in Gulf Shores, Alabama we are big fans of Lucy Buffett's LuLu's restaurant. I would happily enjoy their chips & salsa daily. The allergy-friendly choices on the menu make it one of our favorite places to bring friends and family.

While in Destin we had to check out another member of the LuLu's family.

Lucy Buffett is the founder/creator of LuLu's and also Jimmy Buffett's sister. The restaurant serves authentic coastal cuisine that is fantastic.

They have amazing holiday events, crazy fun shopping in the gift store, and lulu's beach right outside making it a great restaurant for the entire family.

Indoor Seating

There is a large indoor seating area great for enjoying a shaded area during the heat of the Florida Gulf Coast summer.

They have tables and chairs in various sizes so you can fit a group of 8 fairly easily. LuLu's Destin is a great option for family and friends groups.

Indoor Bar

The indoor bear features tall chairs that wrap around the bar. This is a great spot for a casual drink.

Outdoor Seating

The covered outdoor seating includes tables and chairs along with tables with benches overlooking the sand, palm trees and Choctawhatchee Bay.

LuLu's Destin Menu

LuLu's Destin Menu is filled with seafood favorites (crab claws, grouper, shellfish and more), allergy friendly options, and a delicious cocktail menu.

LuLu's has dairy free, egg free, gluten free, shellfish free, soy-free, seafood free, and sesame & nut free menus available. They do an amazing job of handing allergies and making sure guests are taken care of.

Menu Highlights

Fried Green Tomatoes - Served with LuLu's Wow Sauce

Crazy Sista's Crab Dip - Sweet Claw Meat, Swiss and Cheddar Cheeses, Green Onions, and Mayo. Served bubbling hot in a mini cast iron skillet, with Fried Flour Tortilla Chips

The Pa-menna Cheeseburger - The "Pa-menna" Cheeseburger includes a juicy seared burger with LuLu's salty pepper seasoning blend, topped with "pa-menna" cheese (pimento), bacon, and a fried green tomato

Shrimp po'boy -(grilled, blackened, or fried), served with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and sweet pickles

Kids Menu - Fried shrimp, fried snapper fingers, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, quesadilla (chicken or cheese), chicken tenders (grilled or fried), and a kid's cheeseburger.

Kids meals are served with choice of seasonal fruit, green beans, or French fries.

Gluten-Free - LuLu's has a complete Gluten-Free menu. All Gluten-free food is made in an allergen-friendly kitchen.

Vegan - The restaurant has a dairy-free menu. there are salads and sides that are vegan. The salsa is delicious!

Vegetarian - I am a big fan of the quesadilla with a side of salsa. They also have delicious salads.

Signature Cocktails - LuLu's World Famous Bushwacker is always delicious!

You can enjoy a Crazy Sista Bloody Mary, Bama Breeze, Loopty Lu, and more.

They also have a nice selection of beers.

LuLu's Arcade

Next to the gift shop is a fun arcade perfect for killing time if there is a waitlist for a table.

The gift shop is filled with tons of things you didn't know you needed in your life but will want. I found a glitter rubber ducky I still wish I would have purchased.

So many cute t-shirts, bags, sweatshirts, and cute souvenirs to remember your trip to the Emerald Coast of Florida.

Located on Choctawhatchee Bay you can boat in or ride your jet ski to LuLu's.

Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.

Accessibility - The restaurant has a ramp leading into the restaurant. The bathrooms are accessible. They do a great job of making sure guests are comfortable.

Plus Size Seating - The low chairs are comfortable and do not have arms on them.

Gator Beach - Free gator attraction next to Fudpucker's. They have free gator shows and you can see baby alligators.
