Big Beach Brewing Company

Big Beach Brewery is located in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama. It is a favorite for both locals and visitors who enjoy great beer.

When the garage doors are open and the coastal breeze flows through the taproom it is epic! They have a 10 barrel brewing system on site.

If you want to soak up the Southern sun, you can relax in the front yard in Adirondack chairs while local musicians play on the weekends.

,Big Beach Brewing Company is the southernmost brewery in Alabama. Don't worry if you are not a beer drinker they have multiple flavors of Big Jerk Soda made in Pensacola in the coolers.

Big Beach Brewing was started by locals Jim and Julie Shamburger to brew what they enjoy and want to share with the community.

Indoor Seating

There is a combination of low and high top tables and chairs available inside the brewery. This is a great place to watch a game or even ton the large TVs.

Indoor Bar

The brewery bar has tall chairs next to it. Craft Beer Lovers will love being able to talk about the local beer with the bartender and other visitors at the bar.

Outdoor Seating

There are Adirondack chairs spread out for great viewing of the live music, there are also a few tables and chairs.

Big Beach Brewing Beers

Big Brewing produces all kinds of Ales, including ipas, stouts, Cream Ales, and Belgian-style beers.

Six fermenters on site allow them to present 12 beers on tap at any given time. They are proud to have a "tank to tap" operation. This means that they have eight 300-gallon vessels behind the bar that hold their locally made beer and send it straight to the tap.

The head brewer is Rod Murray.

The seasonal beers rotate frequently which is the perfect reason to go back continually to try new smaller batch brews.

Things to know when planning a visit to Big Beach Brewing

Address - 300 E 24th Ave, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Hours - Monday through Thursday, and Sunday - 12 pm - 10 pm

Friday and Saturday - 12 pm - 11 pm

Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.

Accessibility - There are paved accessible parking spaces near the front entrance to the brewery.

Plus Size Seating - The inside tables include comfortable low chairs without arms.

Outdoor seating includes Adirondack chairs and table chairs that do have arms on them.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual

Pets - The front yard and side yard are open for dogs. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Parking  - There is a parking area next to the brewery.

They do not take reservations for tables. Everything is first come first serve so make sure you arrive early if you really want to see a great local band.

Kegs - They are unable to sell kegs from the brewery, but you can arrange to get one with the Piggly Wiggly in Foley. Make sure to give them a week's notice.
