I am dreaming of Lickin Good Donuts as I write this post. I can honestly say they have some of the best doughnuts we have enjoyed in Alabama and across the country.

They are so fresh and taste amazing. We also love the variety of options you can choose from. Whether you love an apple fritter or bacon maple bars, you will find the perfect doughnut.

We were excited to see the wide variety of kolaches available during our last visit. You can try a Boudin kolache, regular kolache with Conecuh, smoke cheddar sausage kolache, jalapeno cheddar sausage and more!

They also offer breakfast biscuits and croissants with sausage or bacon, egg and cheese. Make sure to go in early so they are not sold out!

Stop by and enjoy a sweet treat in the restaurant or grab a dozen or two for takeout. Trust me when I say you are going to want to buy more than you think you will need.

We bought extra and were amazed at how great they tasted the next day. So good!

Now that we live in Gulf Shores I will admit this is one of our favorite stops for a quick breakfast and heavenly treats.

Indoor Seating

There is seating inside perfect for relaxing in the air conditioning with a sweet treat.

Outdoor Seating

There is great outdoor seating with tables and chairs lining down the walkway. We really enjoy relaxing outside and soaking in the Gulf Coast weather.

Arrive early to get the best selection of doughnuts! You can't go wrong with any of the options from chocolate to lemon they are all delicious.

Vegan - Check with the staff to see if there are any vegan options during your visit.

Vegetarian - Most of the doughnuts are vegetarian; just make sure the bacon is not on the same tray.

Make sure to check out the Kolache! These Czech pastries are made with a yeast dough and filled with epic flavors. Lickin Good has Regular Kolache, Smoke cheddar sausage kolache, Conecuh Sausage with Jalapeno, and a boudin kolache.

The boudin kolache has a bit of spice to it. My husband is a huge fan of the Conecuh Sausage Kolache.

We suggest arriving early to grab a few breakfast biscuits and croissants. My husband loves to get a Ham, Egg & Cheese croissant heated up. We take the donuts and his breakfast sandwich to the beach to watch sunrise.

It is the perfect way to start the day in Gulf Shores.

Accessibility - There is a ramp up to the concrete side walk and space within the restaurant.

Plus Size Seating - The indoor chairs do not have arms and have a cushion on the seat making them really comfy. The outside seating is a combination of metal chairs with and without arms.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual

Pets - Pets are not allowed within the shop

Parking  - There is a nice size parking area in front of the donut shop.
