Hopes Cheesecake
This Gulf Coast favorite is a hidden gem in plain sight! As you drive along E. 20th Ave, you can't miss the Hope's Cheesecake Gulf Shores sign.
It is a beacon of dessert goodness. We were unsure what to expect during our 1st visit, and I must tell you the bakery blew our minds.
The New York-style cheesecake produced by the bakers at Hope's is some of the best cheesecake I have had anywhere in the world.
You can tell that the cheesecakes are made with the finest ingredients like Kraft Philadelphia® cream cheese, fresh whole eggs, Melipone vanilla, pure-cane sugar, and juice squeezed from fresh lemons.
The graham cracker crust includes Zwieback toast crumbs, almond meal, and graham cracker crumbs to make the most amazing cheesecake base.
Each Hope's cheesecake is baked for two and a half hours in special rotary ovens that maintain a consistent temperature and protect the cake from the flame.
You can currently only purchase Hope's Cheesecakes in their Gulf Shores, Alabama bakery! They do not currently ship.
I feel like this is the perfect reason to visit Hope's multiple times to try all of the amazing flavors and options.
One thing to know is the 8 inch and 10 inch cheesecakes are frozen so you will need to plan time for them to thaw before enjoying them.
The individual slices of cheesecake are ready to be enjoyed as soon as you want them. We purchased a few different flavors and created our own cheesecake sampling party at the bakery.
Indoor Seating
A couple of booths and a small table with chairs are available inside the bakery. Don't worry; they have plastic forks at each table so you can dive into your slice of cheesecake right there.
Outdoor Seating
There are multiple tables with bench seats attached outside of the restaurant.

If you are hosting Thanksgiving, Christmas, or an event and don't want to stress about dessert we highly suggest checking out the petit fours available at Hope's Cheesecake!
They are already portioned and come in a variety of flavors. Just pop them out of the package onto a pretty serving dish and dessert is taken care of for you.
They also have an amazing key lime pie, sugar cookies, key lime cookies, sandwich cookies, Cannoli (plain and chocolate), cream horns, éclair, and a variety of gourmet cookies.
Menu Highlights - Every gourmet cheesecake looks amazing. They are made in small batches with the finest ingredients so the flavor is unbelievable.
Kids Menu - The entire bakery is a kids dream.
Gluten-Free - They offer gluten-free cheesecakes and have them in a designated freezer case.
Vegan - I did not see any baked goods that were vegan. I will check again during our next visit to see if there are any options.
Vegetarian - We did not see anything that was not vegetarian.

Accessibility - There is an accessible parking space near the entrance to the building. Inside of the Gulf Shores bakery there is room in between the freezer cases to move around.
Plus Size Seating - The table and chairs were really comfortable.
