This 1950s retro diner beckons you in for classic comfort food, epic shakes, and fun!
When you walk into the restaurant you can't help but smile at the red and white leather booths, retro wait staff uniforms, and classic cars turned into a table near the front of the restaurant.
If you are looking for a family-friendly restaurant for all ages look no further than the Sunliner Diner.
The food is always great, and the milkshakes are amazing.
Make sure to plan time for your meal and enjoy the atmosphere. This is not the restaurant to choose if you are in a hurry or need to get out of town quickly.

The menu is a treat all its own! The faux 1950s newspaper-style menu is filled with great dining options.
Breakfast is served all day. The lunch and dinner menu starts at 11am.
Menu Highlights - Classic diner food we all love. Don't miss the corned beef hash, sandwiches, French toast, Belgian waffles, Pancakes, Classic Eggs Benedict, Country fried steak, Hash browns, Avocado toast, omelets, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, Sunliner Burger, and Fried Chicken!
There are so many menu items we can't wait to try! Sunliner Specialties include epic comfort food dishes we all love.
The Jukebox Burger - A stack of three griddled burger patties, topped with American, Swiss, and cheddar cheese, bacon, fried green tomato, onion ring, fried egg, and fried pickles. Drizzled with our creole hollandaise sauce on a buttered brioche bun. Order it and you can play any song you'd like on the jukebox! Finish it and get a Sunliner surprise! Served with French fries.
This burger is so good it made our best burger in Gulf Shores list.
Avocado Benedict - Two poached eggs, fresh avocado, and sliced red tomato covered with creole hollandaise sauce on top of a Sunliner biscuit. Topped with chopped red bell peppers and green onions. Served with hash browns or grits.
The Big Daddy-O Breakfast - 3 farm fresh eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, ham, and a pancake. Served with your choice of grits or hashbrowns. (Upgrade to a classic Waffle or French Toast available.)
Classic Breakfast - Two farm fresh eggs made to order, choice of bacon, sausage, or ham, Sunliner Biscuit and choice of grits or hashbrowns. We suggest ordering gravy for the biscuits! SO GOOD!
Sunrise Biscuit and Gravy - A Sunliner biscuit topped with our sausage gravy and two farm fresh eggs made to order, served with hash brown or grits.
Dream Boat Waffle - Your sweet and salty fantasy. Three giant waffles, bacon, sausage, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. Topped with chocolate chips and chopped bacon. Making dreams come true!
Candied Bacon - Thick-cut smoked bacon transformed into a sweet and savory treat!
Chicken and Waffle Benedict - Belgian waffle, hand battered fried boneless chicken breast, two poached eggs covered with creole hollandaise sauce. Topped with chopped red bell peppers and green onions, drizzled with syrup. Served with hash browns or grits.
The Sunliner Chef Salad - Bed of leafy greens topped with turkey, ham, bacon, egg, tomato, cucumber, cheddar cheese, croutons, and choice of dressing.
The desserts include sundaes, banana splits, authentic 1950s shake, and epic cakes and pies!
Big Tickle Party Shake - This is a shake for the adventurer! Let us dazzle and surprise you! You won't be sorry. You choose chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla ice cream and leave the rest up to us!
We had a vanilla milkshake with Mardi Gras Sprinkles, a waffle, and a cherry.
Caramel Apple Sundae - Vanilla ice cream, warm slice of apple pie and caramel sauce. Topped with more apples, caramel, cinnamon and candied pecans (removed in photo above).
Carrot Cake - This 4 layer carrot cake is unbelievable. We highly suggest taking a slice back to your room with you for a late night sweet treat.
Kids Menu - They have a breakfast kid's menu along with a lunch/dinner menu.
Gluten-Free - They have candied bacon, salads, steak, grilled chicken, or a burger without the bun.
Vegan - They have salads and seasonal fruit. I wouldn't say this is the most vegan-friendly restaurant but there are options.
Vegetarian - They have grilled cheese, salads, and breakfast options. They have Beyond Plant-based patty but be prepared they charge $5 to have one instead of ground beef.
The Razz Your Berries Parfait has Greek vanilla yogurt with seasonal mixed berries and granola. It is really good.
Signature Cocktails - They offer beer and wine, Bushwacker, Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Cosmos, a Sunliner Margarita, Irish Cream Coffee, and a White Russian.
