The Galway Irish Public House

Th Galway Irish Pub may be my new favorite restaurant in Gulf Shores to meet friends for drinks and delicious food.

We met up with friends to celebrate a couple of fun life moments and had so much fun at The Galway.

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed with the green lighting, cozy leather benches, and video screen showing Temple Bar in Dublin.

We ended up spending a couple of hours during our first visit relaxing and soaking in the vibe of this Irish Pub.

It was so much fun talking about our travels to Ireland and comparing stories with friends. The food is DELISH!

I need you to order an extra plate of chips they are that good. They are now my favorite fries in all of Gulf Shores. I would happily stop in just for a plate of fries and a great drink.

Indoor Seating

There is a mix of tables and chairs along with high top tables so you can choose what you are most comfortable with.

The lighting is green and fun but if you have the need for readers or glasses make sure to bring them with you. We had to use our phones to light up the menu so we could easily read it.

This could be age or lighting or a combination of all the things but I want you to be prepared to read the amazing menu options.

Indoor Bar

There is a fantastic long bar perfect for relaxing with a pint of Guinness or your favorite Irish beer.

Outdoor Seating

There are a few tables outside that look really comfortable. This will be the perfect place to relax during the Fall!

Accessibility - There is accessible parking spaces next to the restaurant. Within the restaurant there is room to move around comfortably.

Plus Size Seating - The chairs inside do not have arms on them. There is also long bench seating which was really comfortable.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual, comfortable

Pets - Dogs and pets are not allowed in the restaurant or on the outdoor patio.

Parking  - There is parking next to the building.

Reservations - The Galway Gulf Shores does not take reservations. Every one is served first come first served.

Large Groups - The largest table in the pub can fit 8 people. They do not have the space to combine a ton of tables together.

Galway Public House is owned and operated by Susan Ellis, Scott Keel and Jonathan Langston who also own Bleus Burgers.
