When visiting a local steak restaurant, we look for premium steaks, delicious appetizers, awesome service, and a meal we want to go back and have again.
Living in Gulf Shores full time we have the opportunity to visit these restaurants year-round to check out their seasonal specials, menu changes, and updates.
This post currently focuses on local restaurants in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. We do have a few chain steak restaurants including Longhorn Steakhouse in Gulf Shores and Texas Roadhouse in Foley.
Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are known for great seafood, laid-back vibes, authentic Gulf Coast cuisine, and delicious steaks.

Coast Restaurant offers stunning Gulf views, amazing food, and the perfecct atmosphere that is both upscale casual and relaxing.
This is one of our favorite restaurants for date nights. If you are looking for a restaurant to host a special occasion Coast is a great choice.

Certified Angus New York Strip - Served with asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and roasted tomatoes finished with herb butter.
Filet Mignon - Half pound Certified Angus Filet of Beef served with Asparagus, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Tomatoes and finished with Herbed Butter

You may see Coast Restaurant Gulf Shores listed but the restaurant is located on the way to Fort Morgan.

Parking - There is a large parking area in front of the restaurant. You must go through the front entrance and check in with the guard.
They will give you a parking pass for your dashboard that designates your eating at the restaurant.
Reservations - Reservations are recommended.
Carver's Steakhouse - Closed
Carver's Steakhouse is located in the Orange Beach Publix Grocery Store shopping center next to an urgent care which may make you think it is not worth visiting but, trust me when I say this is an Orange Beach restaurant that will surprise you.
They have a fantastic menu filled with steaks along with the most amazing Neuske Bacon appetizer that you have to try! Picture hot bacon dripping onto warm cornbread...yes its that good.
Menu highlights - Steaks and Chops are served with one standard side. You can enhance your carvers steaks with a crab cake, lobster tail fried, lobster tail steamed, Oscar oyster, shrimp skewer, or wild sauteed mushrooms.

Flora-Bama Yacht Club
The Flora-Bama Yacht Club has an amazing Prime Rib special they will roll out randomly during the year. If you see this special, we HIGHLY suggest heading to the Yacht Club for an epic dinner.
Year-round they have a great filet mignon and ribeye on the menu. Enjoy a delicious meal with views of Ono Island and the water.

Filet Mignon - 8 oz hand cut, certified Angus beef. Served with buttered baby Yukon gold potatoes and steamed local vegetables.
Ribeye - 14 oz boneless ribeye aged for peak flavor and tenderness. Served with buttered baby Yukon gold potatoes and steamed local vegetables.

Enjoy a beautiful Gulf Coast sunset over the water from the open-air deck of Jesse's on the Bay.
Menu highlights - The menu features a 16 oz house cut ribeye, 14 oz dry aged ribeye, 6 or 10 oz filet, 36 oz porterhouse for two, 8 oz prime skirt steak, 14 oz prime stiploin, and a 16 oz prime cowgirl.

Big Mike's Steakhouse
Big Mike's is a favorite for locals and visitors. During the busy summer season, it is not unusual to see people lined up before the restaurant opens.
Menu highlights - Served with Bavarian bread, cinnamon butter and a choice of 2 sides.
Certified Angus Beef that has been aged for 28 days and then hand cut. Each steak is marinated in Big Mike's Seven Spice Blend before being wood fired to your desired temperature, then thopped with garlic herb butter.

Manhattan Strip - Rosemary potato pave, mushroom and bone marrow cream, and caramelized onion.

Big Fish
Big Fish Orange Beach offers fresh seafood, steaks, and sushi in a comfortable, casual fine-dining atmosphere. It is the perfect Orange Beach restaurant for date night, birthdays, or a family dinner.
This is another Orange Beach Steak Restaurant that may surprise you with its location. Located in a strip mall with a jewelry store and boutique the restaurant is a hidden gem!
Absolutely delicous food, great atmopshere, and amazing customer service.

14oz Ribeye - Served with mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans.
8 oz filet mignon - USDA Prime grade aged beef tenderloin lightly seasoned and served with red potato domestic wild mushroom, blue cheese, truffle oil, and sauteed spinach.

BOLO Steak & Seafood
I NEED you to try the Raclette fries! I know this is a post about the best steak in Orange Beach but trust me this appetizer is a must order.
