Perch Gulf Shores is located in Gulf State Park at the Lodge at Gulf State Park. This gorgeous dinner restaurant offers fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico, premium steaks, fresh seafood, and delicious hand-crafted cocktails.

Perch at The Lodge at Gulf State Park is one of the best steak restaurants in town. Perfect for a date night, girls night out, work event, or any night you want an unbelievable food with a view.

The chef's at Perch are phenomenal. They change up the menu seasonally so there is always something new to try.

Indoor Seating

Perch has a great indoor seating area with tables perfect for date night or a work dinner. The space is comfortable, elegant, and has great views out towards the Gulf

 There is bar seating will tall chairs inside the restaurant.

Outdoor Seating

The terrace features gorgeous views of the Gulf and Gulf State Park Pier. There is a mix of table and chairs with great views. It is one of our favorite spots for a celebration dinner, date night, or to watch sunset with a great meal.

One of the things we love about Perch is that they change their menu frequently. They have a few items that they keep most of the time, but they will bring in new seasonal favorites and chef's choices often.

Menu Highlights

Perch Seafood Tower - Served 2-4 people, Champagne-poached Gulf Shrimp, Lobster Tail, Oysters, Smoked Gulf Fish Salad, Crab Ceviche, Green Apple mignonette, Spicy cocktail sauce, lemon, horseradish, and lavash.

Garlic-Roasted Colossal Shrimp - Lemon tomato jam, sourdough toast

Spanish-style braised Octopus - Fingerling potatoes, chorizo, and sourdough toast.

Specialties

Fried Whole Fish - Romesco Sauce, Celery Root and Arugula Salad, Creamy Lemon Dressing.

Beef Cheek Ragu Fettuccini - Parmesan cream, roasted pearl onion, breadcrumb gremolata.

Proscuitto wrapped grouper - Garbanzo bean stew, kale, roasted tomato, lemon, and blue crab.

Seared scallops with glazed pork belly - Cucumber and coconut rice, butternut squash.

The Butcher Block

Center cut filet mignon - 8-ounce filet with grilled broccoli rabe, Vidalia onion puree, and mushroom ketchup.

Delmonico Ribeye - Horseradish potato souffle, pearl onion au jus

Manhattan Strip - Rosemary potato pave, mushroom and bone marrow cream, caramelized onion.

Tomahawk pork chop - Sweet potato hash, brussels sprout slaw, apple raisin chutney, white grain mustard demi glaze.

Veal Rib Chop - Creamed spinach gratin, roasted fingerling potatoes, shallots, brown butter, and sherry vinaigrette.

Gluten-Free - When you make your reservation, let them know you need a gluten-free meal. They have great steaks, seafood, and other options.

Vegan - When you make a reservation let them know that you have someone who is vegan and they will let the chefs know so they can prepare.

Vegetarian - The chef made an amazing vegetable plate with carrots that tasted like candy. It is highly suggested to add vegan or vegetarian to your reservation so the chefs can prepare something that fits dietary needs.

Signature Cocktails - Perfect Manhattan, The Lodge Gin & Tonic, Alabama Mai "Tye", Gulf of Mojito, Blueberry Lemon Drop Fizz, Whiskey Wine Down, French ¾.

Perch GSP has an extensive wine list from around the world. They also offer canned domestic and premium beers.

Our recent server at Perch Gabe was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and cocktails available. He made a twist on a lemon drop that was amazing.

Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.

Accessibility - There is accessible parking near the entrance to the hotel. One thing to know is it is located on a hill. If you or the person you are traveling with is not comfortable getting out on a hill or walking up a hill you may want to pull up next to the hotel and drop people off first.

There is a private elevator to reach the 2nd floor of the restaurant.

Plus Size Seating - They have chairs that do not have arms available.

Parking  - There is valet parking at the entrance to the hotel along with a large parking area for the hotel.

Reservations - Reservations can be made online. Reservations are highly suggested during the busy season.
