Wolf Bay Restaurant is a fun casual restaurant in Orange Beach, perfect for the entire family. They have a great outdoor seating area with views of a turtle pond.

Visitors and locals will love the diversity of the Wolf Bay Orange Beach Menu and how great it tastes.

We find ourselves heading to the restaurant often to enjoy their salad bar. It is so fresh and has a great variety of topping options and homemade salad dressings.

They serve high-quality fresh Gulf seafood, steak, chicken, and more. We take a lot of guests to the restaurant because we know they will find something amazing to enjoy.

This family-owned restaurant has been a Gulf Coast tradition since 1973. The restaurant's history started as a former bait shop on the beautiful waters of Wolf Bay in Elberta.

Charlie & Sandra Wrape purchased it in 1973 and began serving delicious seafood recipes. In December 2008, the original Wolf Bay Lodge was destroyed by a fire.

Today, we can all enjoy their amazing food in Orange Beach and Foley, Alabama. If you are visiting during the height of the Gulf Coast tourist season (SUMMER peak season!) you will most likely experience a wait to get into the restaurant.

Don't worry the wait is worth it!

Indoor Seating

There is a variety of indoor seating available, including booths and tables. The restaurant can fit a large family.

Indoor Bar

The indoor bar has seating around its edges, with bar-height stools. It is located in the heart of the restaurant near the salad bar.

There is also a 2nd bar outside near the outdoor seating. This bar has live music and a lot more seating.

Outdoor Seating

We love the outdoor seating at Wolf Bay. While it is right off of Perdido Beach Boulevard the traffic normally isn't that loud.

If you visit during the day you can watch the giant turtles in the water below the deck. They are used to getting fed so if you stand near the deck edge you will most likely have a group of turtles head right to you.

There is a deck area with turtle food feeders near the front entrance of the restaurant. This is a great way to keep kids entertained if you need to wait for a table.

One of the things we really enjoy about the Wolf Bay Restaurant Menu is how diverse it is. They have great fresh seafood which you would expect on the Gulf Coast but, they also have pasta, sandwiches, steak, chicken, and one of our favorite salad bars.

The menu is great if you have a group that is looking to enjoy a variety of delicious food.

Menu Highlights

One of the Wolf Bay menu  highlights is their You Hook Em, We cook em program. You can bring in your fresh catch and they will cook it for you. The options include fried, grilled or blackened, served with hushpuppies, fries, and coleslaw served family style. The fish has to be cleaned fillets with a signed waiver.

Appetizers - Cha Cha's Signature Crab Dip, Smoked Tuna Dip, Cajun Popcorn Shrimp, Bang Bang Shrimp, Fried Crab Claws, Coconut Shrimp served with tropical marmalade, Fried green tomatoes, Crab stuffed mushrooms, Shrimp Nachos, Cajun Fried Pickles (so good).

Signature Dishes:

Captains Platter - stuffed crab, grouper, scallop, Gulf Shrimp & lobster tail

Wolf Bay Platter - A cup of seafood gumbo or lobster chowder, stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp, grouper, Gulf Shrimp & Oysters, fried

Whole Gulf Flounder - broiled and crab stuffed, also available fried.

Stuffed Shrimp - Gulf Shrimp with house-made seafood stuffing, fried or broiled.

Signature Shrimp and Grits - Smoked gouda grit cake served with three cheese mornay sauce, sauteed shrimp, scallions, and diced tomatoes.

Seafood Gumbo - The restaurants famous recipe that has not changed since 1973! Dark Creole roux base with shrimp, crab meat, and fish.

Shrimp Scampi - Gulf shrimp served with herb garlic butter, angel hair pasta, parmesan cheese, and parsley.

Summer Salad - Mixed greens, mandarin oranges, almonds, strawberries, blue cheese crumbles, craisins, candied pecans, croutons, with a sesame Asian dressing.

Kids Menu - The Wolf Bay Restaurant Kids Menu includes chicken tenders, cheese pizza, fried fish, popcorn shrimp, alfredo pasta, cheeseburger, or mini corn dogs served on a Wolf Bay Frisbee with fries or fruit.

You can also order a kid's smoothie or soft drink.

Gluten-Free - Peel n Eat Shrimp, Oysters, grilled seafood, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, ribeye, grilled chicken tenders, balsamic chicken, snow crab legs, yellowfin tuna, grouper, lobster dinner, snapper, salads

Vegan - The salad bar is going to be the best choice to make sure you have vegan options.

Vegetarian - The salad bar is fantastic. I also order the alfredo pasta but it can be super creamy at times.

Signature Cocktails - They have a fantastic cocktail menu including delicious seasonal cocktails.

Hemingway's Key Lime Spiked Milkshake ---Absolutely delicious!

Peach Cobbler Milkshake, Classic Bushwacker, Ruby Red Cosmopolitan, Lemon Drop, chocolate kiss, voodoo monkey, and so many great drink options.

Dessert - End your meal on a sweet note with a delicious creme brulee, coconut cake, cheesecake of the day, key lime pie, ooey gooey brownie, or bread pudding with warm whiskey sauce.
