When you drive up to Big Fish Restaurant, you can't tell the treat you are in for when you walk inside.
Located in a strip mall in Orange Beach, this is one of our favorite seafood restaurants. My husband would say they offer one of the best steaks in Orange Beach.
While the restaurant's exterior is unassuming, the moment you walk in the door, you know you are in for a great experience.
Hidden behind the front door is a casually elegant restaurant with impeccable customer service. Every course is terrific; you will want to save room for the honey cake for dessert.

Indoor Seating
There are a couple of different rooms with seating options. They also have a great private dining area that comfortably seats 8 people.
The indoor seating includes tables and chairs along with half booths and chairs. The seating is incredibly comfortable.
We were amazed at how quiet and private our table felt even though there were tables nearby. We didn't feel like we had to raise our voices to hear each other.
Great date night ambiance! If you have guests in town this is a great restaurant to visit in the heart of Orange Beach.
Indoor Bar
Near the front entrance, there is a nice indoor bar with tall chairs. They offer happy hour every daily.

The Big Fish Restaurant menu offers great dishes including fresh fish, a seasonal menu, kids-menu, steaks, salads, sushi, pastas, and more.
Appetizer Menu Highlights
Chilled & Peeled Gulf Shrimp - A pound of Gulf Shrimp served with a fantastic cocktail sauce.
Beef Tataki - Thinly sliced beef tenderloin lightly seared, served with a citrus-soy reduction and fresh jalapenos.
Hurricane - a massive selection of shellfish including lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, diver scallops, P.E.I. Mussels poached in a homemade tomato sauce and sauteed sweet peppers over a layer of jasmine rice.
Flash-fried lobster tail - Cold-water lobster tails are flash-fried in wasabi tempura and served with a sweet chili sauce.
Award-winning ginger glazed shrimp skewers - garnished with cucumber salad
Salad Menu Highlights
Baby leaf spinach salad - baby spinach, mandarins, honey-roasted sunflower seeds, and crimini mushrooms topped with warm bacon vinaigrette.
Wedge - Iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, pickled red onion, applewood-smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles, and blue cheese dressing.
Entree Specialties
Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - topped with lemongrass aioli, served with fried rice and tempura green beans, with a wasabi cream fraiche.
Pan Seared Sea Scallops - Glazed with a sherry soy, coconut fried rice, and sauteed garlic spinach.
14oz Ribeye - Served with mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans.
8 oz filet mignon - USDA Prime grade aged beef tenderloin lightly seasoned and served with red potato domestic wild mushroom, blue cheese, truffle oil, and sauteed spinach.

The Fresh fish menu is subject to availability. You can choose from Big Fish Style or the chef's special presentation.
Big Fish Style - sauteed fish topped with scallions and ginger, served with spinach and jasmine rice in a sherry soy broth.
