It's time to get your Weiner wacked at the Wacked Out Weiner...or so the t-shirts say. LOL!
If you are looking for a fun casual restaurant, you will love the Wacked Out Weiner. How can you not smile when there are specialty hot dogs, and souvenirs with an epic tagline - I got my Weiner wacked at the Wacked out Weiner.
You can find t-shirts, stickers, mugs, hats, and more with this saying on them. These shirts are sure to start a conversation.
Indoor Seating
There are quite a few tables and chairs available inside.
Outdoor Seating
There are a couple of options for seating outside including tables and chairs. We decided to sit on the benches in front.
Wacked Out Weiner Menu
Combo meals include a hot dog or sausages, drink, and choice of chips.
Single Dog Combo - One Single Nathan's All Beef Hotdog, Steamed Bun, Unlimited Toppings, Your Choice of Chips and Drink.
Single Sausage Dog Combo - One Smoked Sausage, Steamed Bun, Unlimited Toppings, Your Choice of Chip and Drink.
Each location has its own specialty dog menu. These are the menu options at the Gulf Shores Location.
Wacky Macky Dog - Hot dog topped with mac-n-cheese, and bacon
Frito Pie Dog - homemade chili, cheese, onions, Fritos, and Sour cream
Beach Dog - Pineapple, bacon, and BBQ sauce
Bacon Ranch Dog - Bacon and ranch dressing
Reuben Dog - Swiss Cheese, sauerkraut, Thousand island dressing
Backyard Dog - Baked beans, spicy mustard, bacon, onions, homemade coleslaw, Jalapeños, and BBQ sauce.
Chili Crunch - Homemade chili with fried onions
Rajun Cajun - Jalapeno relish, red pepper relish, jalapenos, spicy mustard, Weiner sauce, and Weiner dust.
Chicago Dog - Mustard, onions, sweet relish, diced tomatoes, sports peppers, dill pickle, celery salt.
Topping Options - If you want to create your own specialty hot dog you can order a Sausage Dog Meal with unlimited toppings.
Wacked Out Toppings include... Homemade chili, onions, dill relish, jalapenos, hot chow chow or mild chow chow, ketchup, yellow mustard, mayo, sour cream, banana peppers, shredded cheese, melted cheese, diced tomatoes, spicy mustard, hot sauce, sweet relish, jalapeño relish, sauerkraut, bacon, Weiner dust, fried onions, celery salt, mac and cheese, baked beans, BBQ sauces, pineapple, mango hot sauce, dill pickles, sport peppers, thousand island dressing, tabasco, and other hot sauce flavors.
All hot dogs are served on a freshly steamed bun
Side dishes include - baked potato salad, baked beans, or mac n cheese.
They also serve loaded nachos.
Frito Pie - One bag of Frito Corn Chips, Homemade Chili, Shredded Cheese, Chopped Onions. and Sour Cream all served in the Frito Bag.
Kids Menu - Kids can customize a hot dog with their favorite toppings.
Gluten-Free - Nathan's All Beef Hot Dogs are labeled as Gluten-free. You could enjoy one without a bun.
Vegan - There are no vegan options except maybe a bag of potato chips and a drink.
Vegetarian - I had a bag of chips and went around the corner to Gourmet World Market and ordered a croissant sandwich.

Wackinator Weiner Hot Dog Challenge
If you are a fan of food challenges, you may want to schedule a visit to try the Wackinator challenge!
This challenge involves a 5-pound hot dog in 30 minutes!
The store requests a 24-hour notice so they can prepare the massive freshly baked bread loaf hot dog bun needed to hold 8 Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, White Mac and cheese, homemade chili, baked beans, sauerkraut, chopped onions, and toppings totaling 5 pounds.
We asked the Gulf Shores location about the challenge and they said only 3 people have managed to finish it.

Hours - Open daily for lunch. Normal hours are 11 am to 3 pm

Accessibility - There is a good amount of room in the restaurant to move around. Accessible parking spaces are located near the restaurant.
Plus Size Seating - They have plastic folding chairs inside the restaurant. Outside there are stronger stools and benches.
