Agave Bar and Grill is one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants in Gulf Shores. Every single time we visit the restaurant we are blown away with how great the food is.
The atmosphere of Agave Bar & Grill is perfect for birthdays, date night, or a casual dinner with friends. It is vibrant and so much fun.

Indoor Seating
Agave Mexican Restaurants indoor seating is a combination of booths and tables and chairs. We love the paintings that are done on each table.
Indoor Bar
There is a great indoor bar with gorgeous tall chairs and murals on the wall.
Outdoor Seating
There is a small outdoor seating area near the main entrance to the restaurant.
Agave Bar & Grill Menu
The Agave Gulf Shores menu is fantastic! It's honestly so good that it can be hard to make a decision everything looks so good.
Make sure to order tableside guacamole with your chips and salsa! It is one of our favorite things on the menu.
Menu Highlights -
California Burrito - burrito stuffed with grilled chicken, steak, shrimp, beans, rice, lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado, sour cream topped with red sauce, cheese and green tomatoes
Pineapple Fajita - A pineapple stuffed with chicken or steak, shrimp and vegetables. Served with rice, beans and salad
Molcajete - Cactus leaves with steak, grilled chicken, shrimp, served with onions, bell peppers and cheese, rice, beans
Carnitas - Pork served with rice, beans, lettuce, Pico de Gallo, and flour tortillas.
Enchiladas Verde - 2 chicken enchiladas topped with green sauce and sour cram, served with rice and beans.
Flaming Cheese Fajita - grilled strips of steak, chicken, onions, squash, mushrooms, bell peppers, and tomatoes served on a skillet covered with flaming melted cheese.
Shrimp Fajitas - sizzling shrimp with vegetables served with rice, beans, lettuce, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and flour tortillas.
Kids Menu - The kids menu includes chicken fingers with fries or rice and beans, beef taco with rice and beans, beef enchilada with rice and beans, cheese quesadilla with rice and beans, plain cheeseburger with fries, or a beef burrito with rice and beans.
Gluten-Free - Fajitas without the tortilla, salads
Vegan - They have vegetable fajitas. I would ask how they are prepared just in case.
Vegetarian - There is a vegetarian section in the menu which is so nice to see. Options include
Vegetable fajitas - onions, bell pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, tomatoes all served with rice, beans, lettuce and sour cream.
Vegetarian plate - cheese enchilada and chalupa served with rice and beans.
Bean Burrito - served with a cheese enchilada and rice and beans.
Zucchini Fajitas - served with beans and a tossed salad.
Vegetable quesadilla - stuffed with veggies and served with a cheese enchilada, rice and beans.
Quesadilla De Hongos - Mushroom quesadilla and cheese quesadilla served with Mexican rice.

You can ask for an over the top margarita and they will deliver one that tastes so good.

Accessibility - There is accessible parking near the front entrance to the restaurant. Inside the restaurant there is quite a bit of room to move around.
Plus Size Seating - They have both booths and table seating. The table seating is great with heavy duty chairs that are comfortable.
The booths may feel a bit snug depending on the person.
