What can you bring to the Wharf Amphitheater?

Please make sure you only bring what is allowed within the venue to ensure you have a great time.

Clear Tote - The tote can have a logo on one side, all items within the bag must be loose, no larger than 12x12x8 inches.

Stadium Seats - No larger than 19x19 inches, they cannot have armrests or cupholders. If you are sitting in the bleachers you will want a soft cushion! I really wished I would have brought a padded seat to the concert. After a few hours I was sitting on my sweatshirt in hopes that it would provide a bit of a cushion.

Small handbag - No larger than 5x7 inches (clutch, wristlet, or wallet), may include a handle or strap.

Clear plastic Ziploc bag - no larger than 1 gallon, must be re-sealable

Medical Bags - For guests with a documented need.

Our suggestions on what to bring with you after attending events at the Amphitheater at The Wharf.

Poncho - If there is any chance of rain we suggest bringing a poncho with you. The clear ponchos are perfect just in case the weather turns ugly.

Sunscreen - We highly suggest applying sunscreen before you head to the event.

Bug Spray - The area around the amphitheater is wet and swampy leading to mosquitoes depending on the time of year you are visiting. Pre-applying Bug Spray before you head to an event is always a good idea.

Handheld Fan - Let's be honest and agree that the Alabama Gulf Coast can get hot and muggy during spring and summer. A handheld fan can help move the air and cool you off while waiting for the concert to start. I dreamed of having one at our last concert after seeing someone use one.

What is not allowed at the Wharf Amphitheater?

The normal things you would expect are not allowed at the amphitheater including weapons, umbrellas, outside food or drinks, video or audio recorders, laser pointers, no large bags, and no strollers.

    Wharf Amphitheater Seating Chart Info

Seating at the Wharf Amphitheater is broken into three levels. Seating availability and general layout may depend on the concert/event.

Pit Tickets - Depending on the concert there may be general admission pit tickets available.

rows of black folding chairs in front of a stage with people in some of the seats

100 Level - Closest to the stage. These are set up with folding chairs

VIP Boxes - VIP Boxes are located in between 100 and 200 level and along the side of the concert venue. These are sponsor boxes and reserved seating for groups.

Rows of bleachers and then chairs leading to the Wharf Amphitheater

200 Level - Includes accessible seating behind the rows of bleachers. The 200 level bleachers have a back making them a bit more comfortable.

There is a section of bleacher seats in section 205 that are right behind the sound tech area. We suggest picking seats on the end of 205 for an easier view of the stage.

Rows of bleachers leading down to the Wharf amphitheater stage and lower level seating.

300 Level - Bleacher seating with a row of accessible seating in the front of the bleachers.

metal fence in front of bleacher seats at The Wharf

If you are shorter or do not want to look over a metal fence we suggest skipping row L where the sections connect with stairs. Seats 1 to 3 and 24 to 26 may be right next to the fence at the end of each section.

There is a metal fence in front of the first few seats on both sides.

ADA Seating - Is available behind the 200 level seating and in front of the 300 level seating. There are plastic folding chairs designating seat numbers. These can easily be moved for a wheelchair.

crowds of people near concession stands in the Wharf Ampitheater

Tips for attending a concert at The Wharf

Ticketmaster App - Make sure to download the Ticketmaster App before the concert. Screenshots and ticket printouts are not accepted for entry.

Everyone who enters must have a ticket, regardless of age.

Arrive Early - We suggest arriving early and enjoying dinner at one of the great Wharf Restaurants. This will ensure you have a parking space and can relax before the concert.

Stop by 8 Reale the speakeasy at The Wharf for a craft cocktail before the show.

We suggest visiting the merchandise stand early! The lines grow significantly longer the closer it gets to the main act performing. The same can be said for the concession stands.

White Shorts - I know they look cute but if you are sitting in the bleachers I highly suggest skipping wearing white shorts. The last thing you want to do is sit in a seat someone has just had their dirty shoes or cowboy boots on.

boardwalk with two people walking on it next to trees at night

The first thing you will do heading into The Wharf Amphitheater is walk through a metal detector and security.

Once you are past security there are elevated boardwalks leading up to the entrance to the concert venue.

If you have mobility restrictions, do not enjoy walking, or don't like crowds we suggest arriving early so you can take your time on the boardwalk.

When you reach the venue entrance they will scan your ticket. Screenshots are not allowed and will not work with the Ticketmaster app.

Make sure you are prepared to show your ticket for entrance to the venue.

After your ticket is scanned you can easily access all levels of seating from the different entrances.

grassy area with food trucks and seating

    Concessions

The Wharf Amphitheater is a cashless venue so make sure you have a credit/debit card with you.

There are multiple options for concessions. You will find drinks and some food under the bleachers in the concourse.

There is also the Grove Concessions which is a grassy area to the side of the amphitheater. You will find drink carts along with food carts offering a variety of food options.

drink price chart with cocktails, soda, and beer at The Wharf Amphitheater

There are drink vendors spread throughout the venue. You will find them between the 200 and 300 section of seating along with on the side and under the bleachers in the concourse.

Why you will love The Wharf Amphitheater

Things to know when planning a visit to The Wharf Amphitheater

Address - 23101 Canal Rd, Orange Beach, AL 36561
    United States

Box Office - 23325 Wharf Lane, Orange Beach, AL 36561

    Phone - (251)224-1020

blue folding chairs with accessible seating tags next to a metal fence with the Wharf Amphitheater in the background.

Accessibility - Handicapped parking is available in a reserved lot just east of the main entrance.

Plus Size Seating - There are foldable chairs in the 100 section of seating and the accessible seating. I looked up the chairs and it looks like the weight limit is 300 pounds.

If you are not comfortable sitting in these foldable chairs I would suggest getting bleacher seats in the 200 or 300 level. Depending on size and comfort level you may want to buy two seats to have space and not worry about being really close to someone.

Dress Code/Suggestions - You will see a little bit of everything at the Wharf concerts. We suggest dressing in layers so you are prepared for the hot afternoon sun and the cool down after sunset.

We do not suggest wearing short flowy skirts if you are sitting in the bleachers.

Be prepared for the hot muggy weather in the summer.

Cashless Venue - The Wharf Concert Venue is now a cashless venue! All major credit cards are accepted onsite.

Pets - Pets are not allowed in the concert venue

Parking  - Parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is no holding or reserving spaces, no grills or tents, allowed in the parking areas.

A Premier Paid Parking Pass is available for select shows to guarantee parking.

No trailer or overnight RV parking is allowed in any parking garages or lots.

Depending on the size of the event there will be designated exits from each of the parking areas to help with congestion.
