This great restaurant is located right next to the Wharf Marina and offers a casual atmosphere with delicious food.

This is a great restaurant for a couple or a family. We have seen lots of multi-generational families enjoying a meal together.

Everyone will find something to love on the menu.

We keep hearing that Sunday brunch is fantastic. We can't wait to plan a time to visit on a Sunday and enjoy southern comfort food to start the day.

My husband says you HAVE to try the shrimp and grits! He can't stop talking about how flavorful it is and how excited he is to return to have it again.

We are going to work on the best shrimp and grits in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach article, and Ginny Lane's will definitely be on the list.

This Wharf Restaurant truly has sensational food and a great atmosphere.

Indoor Seating

The indoor seating includes a combination of tables and booths spread around a small stage. There is ample seating for families or couples wanting to enjoy a meal together.

We saw multiple tables for up to eight people that had space for everyone to enjoy their meal without feeling crowded.

Indoor Bar

The indoor bar area has a large bar with counter seating, multiple pool tables, and some arcade games. It has a fun atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a great cocktail.

Outdoor Seating

There is outdoor seating overlooking The Wharf Marina. Enjoy great food while looking at large yachts and boats that make you want to head out for a day on the Gulf.

Ginny Lane Menu

Ginny Lane offers Lunch, Dinner, and Brunch (on the weekends) The menu ranges from soups and salads, sandwiches, burgers, fresh seafood, pasta dishes and fish dishes.

The appetizers all look fantastic.

Lunch and Dinner Menu Highlights

Gulf Shrimp and Grits - pork belly, cheddar grits, creole cream sauce, and tomatoes. Oh my!

Spinach Artichoke Dip - This was so good!

Surf n Turf -  6 oz New York Strip Steak, blackened shrimp, mashed potatoes, green beans, Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

Ginny Lake House Salad - spring mix, cherry tomatoes, bacon crumbles, cucumber, cheddar cheese, hard boiled egg, and croutons.

Shrimp Scampi - Angel Hair Pasta, Roasted Tomatoes, asparagus, White Wine Garlic Butter.

Asian Chicken Salad - Grilled chicken, lettuce, Red Cabbage, green onion, carrots, Mandarin Oranges, Crispy Wonton Strips, Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette.

Short Rib Nachos - braised short rib, queso, lettuce, Pico, sour cream, guacamole, black olives, and jalapenos.

Fried green tomatoes and Blackened Shrimp

Crab cakes and fried green tomatoes - Served with dirty rice with spinach, bell peppers ,and tasso. Topped with a remoulade sauce.

Lunch Meat and Two Sides (Monday through Friday 11 am to 4 pm) is a fantastic option!

Meat options - Fried shrimp, pan seared fish, fried flounder, country fried steak, hamburger steak, and meatloaf.

South Bama Burger - Fried green tomato, bacon jam, jalapeno aioli, cheddar cheese, served on a brioche bun.

Side options include mashed potatoes, creamed corn, French fries, butter beans, potato casserole, black eyed peas, mac and cheese, English peas, green beans, Cucumber Salad, Okra, and Cole Slaw.

Don't miss dessert with key lime pie, white chocolate bread pudding, or lava cake. They also have a cheesecake of the day.

Dinner menu highlights include the seafood platters, steaks, oysters, and Ginny Lane Classics.

Brunch Menu Highlights

Cheese Plate - Honey drizzled brie, smoked gouda, Gorgonzola, Manchego, Fruit, Spiced Pecans, and Crackers.

Crawfish Mac and Cheese with Pork Belly

Southern Style Eggs Benedict - poached eggs, cheddar grits, Applewood smoked bacon, Green Beans, Hollandaise Sauce.

Oysters - Half Shell, Fried, or Baked (Bacon Cheddar, Cajun Rockefeller, Jalapeno Goat Cheese, Chorizo Pico, or Roasted Garlic Herb Butter).

Kids Menu - There is a designated kids menu that includes a Grilled Cheese sandwich, kids burger, chicken tenders, and fried shrimp plate, all of these are served with fries. They also have a small fruit plate or noodles with marina, butter, or alfredo sauce.

Happy Hour - Ginny Lane Happy Hour runs from 3 pm to 6 pm daily. They have drink specials along with food deals (wings, double decker burger, spinach dip, fried shrimp, cheese fries, and short rib nachos.)

Gluten-Free - The menu shows which items are Gluten Free.

Vegan - There are multiple salad options. The house salad was delicious.

Vegetarian - There are multiple gourmet salads, spinach artichoke dip (so good), and pasta. I was able to order an creamy alfredo sauce pasta with spinach (adapted from the seafood pasta) and it was delicious.

Signature Cocktails - Lavender Martini, Lemon Basil Martini, Ginny Lane Strawberry Lemonade, Bushwacker, Banana Colada, and more.

Takeout Family Meals - They offer takeout meals serve with house or Caesar salad and rolls including Shrimp scampi, shrimp and grits, Chicken & Spinach Alfredo, and Meatloaf.

Accessibility - There is a ramp within the restaurant to the tables. There is also outdoor seating

Plus Size Seating - The indoor chairs so do no have arms on them and are comfortable wooden chairs that were really sturdy.

The booths have a relatively large amount of space. We saw multiple plus-size people easily fitting in the booths.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual

Pets - Dogs may be allowed in the outdoor seating (call the restaurant to confirm)

Parking  - There is some parking right in front of the restaurant. The majority of parking is available in the Wharf parking garage.
