When it comes to the best coffee shop in Orange Beach, the Southern Grind is at the top of the list. There are so many reasons to visit this epic local coffee shop.
Locals and visitors will love the amazing pastries, delicious desserts, and epic drinks available.
We tend to visit more often then we probably want to admit for iced chai's and blended coffee drinks.
The atmosphere in The Southern Grind Coffee Shop is just amazing. It is a place you can take a deep breath and relax.
It feels like you have stepped away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and can just savor a moment of calm on the Gulf Coast.
The Wharf Location
Southern Grind Coffee Shop at The Wharf is located on the street level and offers the perfect place to take a break while shopping or exploring.
They have a fantastic menu, including iced and blended drinks, Gelato, fresh food, delicious cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, comfort food, and so much more.
We love relaxing here and soaking in the comfortable coastal vibes. The beautiful interior makes this a cozy place you don't want to leave.
The gift shop is filled with local art, home decor, and a coastal vibe.
Hotel Indigo Location
The Southern Grind at Hotel Indigo is located on the main level and has an epic gift shop, plentiful seating, and so many sweet treats.
We love to relax in the air conditioning and plan out our days on the Gulf Coast. Every single time we visit, we find something new that we need for our house.
The Hotel Indigo location offers indoor and outdoor seating on their patio. The outdoor seating is pet-friendly.
The Southern Grind Coffee House Menu
The Southern Grind serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and great coffee. They offer daily breakfast and lunch specials.
Menu Highlights - Brewed coffee, espresso drinks, frappes, hot chocolate, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, paninis, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, salads, brownies, and gelato Italian Ice Cream.
They even have nitro draft cold brew coffee.
Smothered Meat Lovers Omelet - 3 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, and cheddar cheese topped with peppered white gravy served with toast.
Steak, Egg, and Cheese Wrap - seasoned steak, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese served in a grilled spinach herb wrap with a side of fresh salsa.
Breakfast Potatoes - I NEED you to order a side of breakfast potatoes! They are one of my favorite breakfast items in Orange Beach! So good every time.
Farmers Omelet - 3 eggs, sausage, onion, red peppers, and cheddar cheese served with toast.
Bagel Breakfast Sandwich - 2 eggs, cheese, with the choice of bacon, ham, or sausage on a bagel.
Lunch Menu Highlights include:
Paninis, Sandwiches and Wraps served with chips, and a choice of pasta salad or cucumber salad.
Bread choices - ciabatta roll, sourdough, wheat, spinach wrap, or a whole wheat wrap.
Turkey Pesto Panini or Chicken Pesto Panini - sliced turkey or chicken breast with pesto, mozzarella cheese, tomato with fresh basil, salt and black pepper, served on a ciabatta roll.
Turkey or Chicken Club Panini - turkey or chicken breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, with chipotle mayonnaise, served on sourdough bread.
Cobb Salad - Fresh greens, smoked bacon, smoked turkey, tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, blue cheese crumbles, and black olives.
Pear & Pecan Salad - Fresh greens, red onion, caramelized pears, roasted candied pecans, with blue cheese crumbles.
Apple and Roasted Walnut Salad - Granny smith sliced apples, roasted walnuts, dried cranberries, topped with feta cheese served on a bed of fresh green.
French Dip - served with provolone cheese and creamy horseradish sauces on a hoagie roll with a side of au jus.
Kids Menu - The kids menu includes PB&J, Turkey and Cheese sandwich, Grilled Cheese, and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich all served with fresh fruit.
Gluten-Free Options - Gluten-free menu items are designated on the menu and include the pear and pecan salad, strawberry pecan salad, market sad, apple and roasted walnut salad, and avocado egg melt.
Vegan - There is a vegan plant based burger on the menu along with salads that can be made vegan.
The Hummus Veggie Wrap - spinach and herb wrap with hummus, avocado, spinach, cucumber, tomato, red onion, served with a side of fruit.
Vegetarian - Vegetarian items are designated on the menu and include oatmeal, quiche of the day, mozzarella tomato basil panini, hummus veggie wrap, hummus platter, and some epic salads.
The veggie chicken and biscuit breakfast sandwich is delicious! I would drive to Southern Grind any day to enjoy it.
