Shrimp Basket is a local seafood restaurant that started in Gulf Shores, Alabama. They now have locations in Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.

 The Shrimp Basket is a Gulf Coast favorite with locals and tourists. Ths casual family-focused seafood restaurant treats guests like family.

I know that sounds cheesy but honestly, their staff is amazing. We have always had amazing customer service and food at the Gulf Shores location.

Indoor Seating

The indoor seating at the Gulf Shores Shrimp Basket location is super comfortable. They have tables that can fit 6 people easily.

Indoor Bar

There is a small indoor bar with a few bar stools

Outdoor Seating

The Gulf Shorse location has a great covered outdoor patio perfect for enjoying the warm summer evenings. Don't worry there are fans for the heat of the summer.

In the winter they cover the sides of the patio to keep the heat in which is always super nice.

Shrimp Basket Menu

The shrimp basket menu is filled with the seafood favorites you would expect. They also have fantastic salads, burgers, and bowls.

Menu Highlights

Starters - Smoked mahi dip, firecracker fries, fried pickle chips, shrimp cooked your way, fried crab claws, saucy wings, raw gulf oysters, boom boom shrimp, coconut shrimp and homemade onion strings.

Signature hand breaded baskets - chicken tender basket, shrimp basket, oyster basket, catfish basket, popcorn shrimp basket, whitefish basket, and seafood basket.

Handhelds - Grouper sandwich, boom boom shrimp tacos, chipotle burger, cheeseburger, bacon ranch chicken tacos, cowboy burger, shrimp po'boy, shrimp or whitefish tacos.

Southern favorites - grilled platter, low country boil, blackened redfish, shrimp n grits, cajun pasta, steamed shrimp platter

Bowls - seafood gumbo, Caeser salad, shrimp etoufee, house salad, red beans and rice, and teriyaki bowl

Sides - new potatoes, signgature shrimp slaw, fried okra, sweet potato fries, French fries, cheese grits, green beans, steamed broccoli

Kids Menu - Popcorn shrimp basket, cheeseburger, chicken strip basket, whitefish basket, or chicken quesadilla. served with French fries or applesauce, and a kid's soft drink.

Gluten-Free - Saucy Wings, raw Gulf oysters, Shrimp cooked your way, grilled platter, low country boil, blackened redfish, shrimp n grits, steamed shrimp platter.

Vegan - Salad, Teriyaki bowl without meat, mayo

Vegetarian - corn fritters, fried pickle chips, housemade onion strings, house salad, Teriyaki bowl without meat
