If you are looking for fresh fish, snow crab legs, an Island Burger, golden brown shrimp, or delicious key lime pie with a graham cracker crust you are going to enjoy Gulf Island Grill.
The What the Duck drink is amazing! It is one of my favorite Gulf Shores cocktails you need to try! So smooth and easy to drink.
I would go back to Gulf Island Grill any day to relax with a What the Duck! though I do need to try the Komoniwanaleiya still. That drink comes with your very own personal lei...
Indoor Seating
The indoor seating at Gulf Island Grill is fantastic! The under the sea mural and dollar bills hanging all over the place keeps you entertained while waiting for your food to be done.
This is one of those restaurants you just don't know where to look next. There is so much to see.
Indoor Bar
The indoor tiki bar is perfect for grabbing a drink and relaxing while watching some tv or talking with people.
Outdoor Seating
There is fantastic outdoor seating looking out over Beach Blvd. You can see the Gulf and white sand beaches while hearing everything that is happening in town.
During the summer season you should be able to hear live music or fun happening in town.

The Gulf Island Grill Menu is filled with fresh seafood, island spices, epic cocktails, and classic beachside restaurant favorites.
Menu Highlights
Appetizers - Roasted cheddar and artichoke dip, coconut shrimp with Jezabel sauce, boiled shrimp, fried dill pickle chips, buffalo shrimp, baked crab stuffed mushrooms, cheesy bacon fries, blackened shrimp queso, and Louisiana popcorn (spicy fried crawfish tails).
Soups (cup or bowl) - crab and corn bisque, seafood gumbo served with crackers
Salads
Dressing options include - choice of honey mustard dressing, raspberry vinaigrette, herbal vinaigrette, ranch, 1000 island, and blue cheese.
The Grill salad - Fresh tossed greens topped with grilled chicken, craisins, pineapple, shredded parmesan cheese, and toasted almonds
Mango shrimp salad - fresh tossed greens topped mango BBQ shrimp and sliced red onions, cherry tomatoes, a boiled egg, parmesan cheese
Tender salad - Fresh tossed greens with crispy fried chicken, red onions, cherry tomatoes, a boiled egg, and parmesan cheese
Side Salad - Fresh greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sliced onions
Sandwiches - Shrimp Po'boy, Grouper sandwich, Jerk chicken sandwich, and Island Burger.
Shrimp Po'Boy - fried popcorn shrimp on French loaf bread with lettuce, tomato, and onion.
Island Burger - ½ pound burger with island spices! Add American, Swiss cheese, or provolone cheese. Add bacon, sauteed mushrooms or grilled pineapple.

Caribbean Shrimp Kabobs - 2 grilled shrimp skewers with Caribbean rice, steamed veggies, and a grilled pineapple
Mahi Tacos- Fresh mahi in a flour tortilla with homemade pico de gallo, fresh lettuce, shredded cheese. Served with chips & salsa and red beans and rice.
Shrimp Scampi - Fresh gulf shrimp sauteed in garlic wine butter, served with Caribbean rice and steamed vegetables.

Grouper Parmesan - Baked grouper topped with fresh parmesan. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.

Accessibility - There is accessible parking with access to the main entrance of the building. Within the restaurant there is seating on the main level and up a ramp in the bar area.
Plus Size Seating - The indoor chairs do not have arms on them and are pretty comfortable. The outside chairs do have arms on them so it will depend on your comfort level.
Dress Code/Suggestions - Beach casual
