Matt's Homemade Ice Cream started in July 2014 and continues to serve amazing ice cream flavors to locals and visitors to Gulf Shores.

We are on a quest to find the best Gulf Shores Ice Cream Shop, and Matt's Homemade Alabama Ice Cream is high on the list!

Our goal is to try all of the local ice cream shops to make sure we know for sure which one is truly the best.

I must say that the unique and fun eclectic flavors make this Gulf Shores ice cream shop hard to beat. My husband swoons for the dreamsicle (orange vanilla) and the cherry oblivion (cherry-flavored ice cream with chocolate pieces and dark cherries)

I am a huge fan of their sorbets and fruit-flavored ice creams. Matt's Homemade Ice Cream constantly rotates flavors so every time you go in there is something new to try.

You can't make a wrong choice with all of the epic flavors. This Gulf Shores ice cream parlor is sure to delight kids and adults.

Indoor Seating

There is a small seating area with plastic chairs at the back of Matt's I c e cream store.

Outdoor Seating

There is a bench outside of the restaurant on Gulf Shores Parkway that is great for relaxing with your ice cream cone.

Matt's Homemade Ice Cream Menu

Menu Highlights - Sundaes, banana splits, shakes, floats, or order a cone by the scoop.

The ice cream case is filled with classic favorites and popular flavors so you always have great options.

They also have flavored cotton candy and a case of chocolate treats.

Matt's Traditional Sundae - 2 scoops vanilla ice cream with choice of hot fudge, chocolate, caramel sauce, strawberry, or pineapple topping.

Kids Menu - The entire menu is pretty kid-friendly.

Gluten-Free Options- There are tons of options

Vegan - They have multiple flavors of sorbet.

Vegetarian - Most of the options do not include meat or gelatin.
