CoastAL Orange Beach - Complete Beachfront Restaurant Guide

CoastAL is located in the heart of Orange Beach, right next to the amazing sugar-white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

They offer great food, epic beach views, and indulgent desserts. Locals and visitors will love the menu variety, views, and delicious food.

I NEED you to try the aged white cheddar pimento cheese appetizer. I am pretty sure I could go back daily just for this appetizer.

My husband said the Coastal Chicken Sandwich was unbelievable. He is still talking about the Bushwacker Tiramisu and how epic it was.

The CoastAL menu is filled with fresh seafood and a variety of options from salads, burgers, and local specialties. Don't miss the signature cocktails and desserts.

CoastAL Beach Bar: Casual Beachside Dining

The Coast-al Beach Bar offers covered and outdoor dining with spectacular views of the beach.

If you choose to sit outside, please make sure that you have sunscreen or are prepared for the sun. We had an epic lunch sitting in the open area near the beach, and I didn't even think about the fact that we were in the sun for a couple of hours until a little later when I realized my back was burnt.

Please do not make my mistake and come prepared to sit outside and soak in the amazing atmosphere of CoastAL.

The outdoor bar and dining area has chairs with and without arms depending on your comfort. They also offer high-top tables in the Coastal Beach Bar along with bar seating.

The Coastal Beach bar is a casual setting. This is one of our favorite bars in Orange Beach.

CoastAL Beach Bar Menu Highlights

The Coastal Orange Beach menu is filled with great choices including Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, Yellowfin Tuna Dip, Crab Claws, Fresh Gulf Grouper, and more.

Pimento Cheese Appetizer - House made aged white cheddar pimento cheese served with seasonal jam, praline pecans, assorted crackers and fruit.

Ancient Grain Salad - Ancient Grains, Mixed Greens, Toasted pumpkin seeds, shoestring carrots, English cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, dried cherries with a champagne vinaigrette.

Signature Coastal Burger - Certified Angus Beef, Aged white cheddar, cherrywood smoked bacon, caramelized Cipollini onions, wild mushroom demi glaze, tomato, dill pickle chips, green leaf lettuce, and bacon aioli.

Coastal Chicken Sandwich - Crispy Fried Chicken Bread (marinated in iced tea), aged white cheddar pimento cheese, tomato, red onion, green leaf lettuce, dill pickle chips, and peach aioli. Served with delicious French Fries!

Bushwacker Tiramisu - Bushwacker ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, cocoa, and shaved chocolate + booze!

Menu Options for Special Diets

Kids Menu - They have a designated kid's menu with a ¼ pound cheeseburger, chicken tenders, popcorn shrimp, or grouper pieces. Each meal comes with a kid's soft drink.

Gluten-Free - The salad with out croutons is definite option. You could also get a burger without the bun. Make sure to ask your server for any recommendations they have.

Vegan - The best option is a salad without cheese.

Vegetarian - The only option I found during our visit was a salad. Our server said that hopefully they will have more vegetarian options once they open the restaurant and have a full kitchen.

I have started enjoying the Pimento Cheese appetizer as my entree. It is so good.

The restaurant portion is open featuring fresh classic Coastal fare, seasonal favorites, chef inspired dishes, local seafood, and epic desserts.

I have a feeling Coastal Restaurant is going to become a Gulf Coast favorite.

CoastAL Restaurant: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Beachside Burrata - Burrata, Roasted tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic glaze served with bread.

Crispy Gumbo Bites - Cajun rice, gulf shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage with a gumbo dipping sauce.

Gulf Grouper - Grilled Gulf Grouper with andouille and white cheddar risotto, garlic spinach, roasted tomatoes, asparagus, and sweet corn reduction.

Filet Mignon - Center cut Certified Angus Beef with herbed butter, seasonal vegetables, and fingerling potatoes.

Local Crab Cakes - House-made blue crab cakes with lemon caper Beurre Blanc and seasonal vegetables.

Don't miss the Bushwacker Tiramisu and Key Lime Cheesecake for dessert.

CoastAL is now serving breakfast daily starting at 8 am and I NEED you to go try it! This is our new favorite breakfast in Orange Beach! HELLO YUM!

Country Benedict - Poached eggs, sausage patties served on biscuits with sausage gravy. Served with house grits, homestyle potatoes, or fresh fruit.

Gulf View Breakfast Sandwich - sausage, ham, or bacon with a fried egg, white cheddar cheese on a buttermilk biscuit. Served with house grits, homestyle potatoes, or fresh fruit.

Avocado Toast - Multigrain toast topped with smashed avocado, roasted heirloom tomatoes, cotija cheese, red onion, and a fried egg. Served with house grits, homestyle potatoes, or fresh fruit.

Traditional Eggs Benedict - Heritage ham, poached egg, English Muffin covered in Hollandaise sauce. Served with grits, homestyle potatoes, or fresh fruit.

Crab Cake Benedict - House made crab cakes topped with poached eggs on an English Muffin covered in Hollandaise sauce. Served with grits, homestyle potatoes, or fresh fruit.

Southwest Breakfast Burrito - Scrambled eggs, chorizo, corn and black bean salsa, chipotle crema, and shredded cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla. Served with grits, homestyle potatoes, or fresh fruit.

Stuffed Blueberry French Toast - Thick cut Challah bread with cream cheese, fresh blueberries, and a fresh berry compote

Giant House Baked Cinnamon Bun - There are no words for how good this cinnamon bun is topped with homemade caramel icing.

Reservations - The restaurant does not take reservations or call ahead seating.

Pets - Service Animals only including all outdoor spaces.

Parking - There is free parking for CoastAL customers and residents of Orange Beach. There is a great parking attendant right when you pull in who will tell you the best place to park.

Live Music - Live music is performed daily in the evenings. Check the restaurant calendar for specific artists.

During our last date night to Coastal we enjoyed some fantastic live music. It was the perfect night out in the city of Orange Beach.

The restaurant is owned by the Flora-Bama co-owners John McInnis and Cameron Price! The entire restaurant development will include a 20,000 square foot restaurants, retail space, and a 3,00 square foot outdoor bar. Plus 15,000 square feet of open air promenade and green space.
