Just thinking about brunch at the Ruby Slipper Café makes me hungry. They know how to do epic brunch right!
We have always enjoyed excellent service every time we have visited this great Orange Beach breakfast restaurant.
Start your day with eye-opening cocktails, delight in delicious food, and enjoy amazing customer service.
You don't have to wait for Sunday brunch to enjoy amazing food and amazing service. The Ruby Slipper Orange Beach serves brunch classics daily.
Southern breakfast standards including seasonal beignets, Buttermilk biscuits covered in country sausage gravy, seafood bennies with bayou shrimp and a creole tomato sauce, and so much more.
This is one of our favorite brunch spot along the southern gulf region. We find ourselves visiting frequently.
Indoor Seating
The Ruby Slipper Cafes seating is really comfortable with wooden chairs. There is ample space for groups of different sizes. From couples to an entire family there is multiple seating options.
Indoor Bar
The bar is located right inside and has so many great cocktail options.
Outdoor Seating
You can enjoy dining on the outdoor porch. The outside seating area overlooked Perdido Beach Boulevard.

One of the great things about Ruby Slipper is their menu is broken down into sections
Menu Highlights - There are so many menu highlights it is honestly hard to pick just a few. Here are some of the favorites we order every time we visit the Ruby Slipper in Orange Beach.
Pig Candy Bacon Bites - Applewood-smoked bacon bites with candy glaze
Seasonal Beignets - The perfect reason to return over and over again.
Eggs Cochon Benedict - Slow-cooked, apple-braised pork served over a buttermilk biscuit, topped with two poached eggs, finished with hollandaise
Eggs Blackstone - Applewood-smoked bacon and grilled tomato served over a buttermilk biscuit, topped with two poached eggs, finished with hollandaise, served with a side salad
Shrimp and Grits - Gulf shrimp sauteed with pork tasso, bell pepper, red onion, beer, and rosemary-butter reduction, served over creamy stone-ground grits with a buttermilk biscuit.
Biscuits and Gravy - Always a good idea!
French Toast Bites - Brioche based French toast bites, fried and tossed in cinnamon sugar served with cream cheese icing and praline sauce.
Migas - A Tex-Mex egg scramble with pico de gallo, spicy chorizo sausage over crispy tortilla strips, topped with chipotle sour cream, pico de gallo, pepper jack, and cilantro served with a side of avocado
Three Little Pigs Omelet - Applewood-smoked bacon, ham, and sausage with Swiss cheese served with grits and a buttermilk biscuit
Breakfast Sandwich - Choice of meat (Applewood-smoked bacon, sausage, or chicken sausage), choice of egg (scrambled or fried) and choice of cheese, served on your choice of biscuit or brioche bun with a side of your choice
You can B.Y.O Omelet with choice of cheese, plus choose up to 3 items (onion, tomato, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, applewood-smoked bacon, ham, pork sausage, chicken sausage, chorizo, or shrimp) Plus sauce it up with pico de gallo, tasso cream sauce, or hollandaise.
They serve their signature breakfast blend coffee which is great. You can also get iced coffee with French Truck cold brew coffee, vanilla syrup, milk and cream topped with whipped cream and nutmeg.
Kids Menu - There are a ton of options kids will love
Gluten-Free - There is a gluten-free friendly menu available online. Menu items include
Migas - Tex-mex egg scramble with pico de gallo, spicy chorizo, and pepper jack cheese with a side of avocado.
Southern Breakfast - 2 eggs, applewood smoked bacon, grilled tomato, with fresh fruit and gluten-free bread.
Gulf Shrimp Omelet - Gulf Shrimp, red onion, bell pepper, and cheddar cheese with fresh fruit and gluten-free bread.
French Toast - Made with gluten-free bread, topped with fresh strawberries, cane syrup butter, and powdered sugar.
Vegan - Southern ALT without the mayo, but you would need to ask about the bread. They do have breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit.
Vegetarian - There are quite a few menu items to enjoy for vegetarians. I have never had a problem finding multiple menu items that look amazing.
Options include:
Southern ALT - Fried Green tomato and Fresh red tomato, avocado, lettuce & mayo on a brioche toast with sides.
Breakfast Tacos - Grilled flour tortillas with eggs, Pico de Gallo, pepper jack cheese, chipotle sour cream, and avocado.
Classic or stuffed French toast or French toast bites or Bananas Foster French Toast (so good!)
Pancakes - class, cinnamon swirl, white chocolate bread pudding, or berry Chantilly pancakes.
Florentine Omelet - portobello mushroom, spinach, and goat cheese served with a biscuit and side salad.
Signature Cocktails - Their bartenders will whip up an epic Ruby Mimosa, Award-Winning Bloody Mary, Peach Bellini, Lavender Paloma, Irish Coffee, Sazerac Sipper, Bourbon Milk Punch, boozy iced coffee, morning margarita, and more!

Reservations - We suggest joining the waitlist on line before heading to the Ruby Slipper Orange Beach especially if you are visiting on a weekend morning or later in the morning.
Accessibility - There is a ramp leading into the restaurant and space between tables.
Plus Size Seating - The chairs do not have arms on them and are pretty comfy as far as wooden chairs go.
