The Drowsy Poet Coffee Company
The Drowsy Poet at Foley Station is located in a converted 1950s service station right in historic Downtown Foley, Alabama.
This Foley Coffee Shop is super cute and offers indoor and outdoor seating, a great coffee and tea menu, and grab-and-go meal items.
This bustling coffee shop is so worth stopping to visit. Everything we have tried has been truly amazing.
From the perfect level of foam on our drinks to the excellent service we have received.
Indoor Seating
There is a few different options for indoor seating. Tables and chairs with arms, bar height stools, and a couple of lower soft chairs.
Outdoor Seating
The outdoor seating has tables with chairs with arms and a couple of rattan chairs. The outdoor seating is under what was the service station cover so you don't have to worry about the weather too much.
Drowsy Poet Menu
The Drowsy Poet Menu includes classic coffee drinks, chai tea, Italian sodas, and smoothies.
They also have baked goods near the register and a refrigerator with ready to enjoy breakfast sandwiches and quiches.
They roast specialty Arabica beans to produce the best coffee flavors. The master roasters pay careful attention to bean selection to create a complex cup of coffee that tastes amazing.

Available in 12 oz. 16 oz. and 20 oz. sizes
- Shakespeare (Espresso, steamed milk, chocolate, hazelnut, topped with whipped cream)
- Poe (Espresso, steamed milk, dark chocolate, raspberry, topped with whipped cream)
- Milton (Espresso, steamed milk, chocolate, caramel, topped with whipped cream)
- Byron - chai latte (Organic tea, special blend of spices, steamed milk)
- Keats - Mate latte (Organic yerba mate with a touch of cardamom, vanilla, clove, and steamed milk)
- Longfellow - 12 oz and 16 oz only (Hot teas, 1 or 2 bags)
- Browning (Hot chocolate)
They also have espresso, americano, latte, cappuccino, caramel macchiato, vanilla latte, mochas, white chocolate mocha.
Poetchinos - Frozen blended coffee drinks topped with whipped cream.
Smoothies - four berry blend, strawberry, pineapple paradise, strawberry banana

Accessibility - There is a large step up into the coffee shop at the main entrance.
Plus Size Seating - The lower seats all have arms on them which depending on size may be uncomfortable.
