Historic Downtown Foley, Alabama, continues to evolve with amazing coffee shops, epic new restaurants, and great shopping. It is one of our favorite areas near our house in Gulf Shores to explore.

Gypsy Queen Java

Gypsy Queen Java has a delicious coffee menu, the most amazing cinnamon roll, and a fun relaxed vibe.

They offer seasonal drinks, fun monthly specials, and great paninis. During our last visit, a group of locals was jamming in the back together.

Menu highlights - Gypsy Queen Java's Menu includes a full service coffee bar with signature lattes, espresso, tea lattes, hot herbal teas, cold brew, and iced teas. They also have queenie panini sandwiches, Hugs & Quiches, bakery items and snacks.

Signature Lattes include the Gypsy Latte (white mocha, cherry, vanilla), Stairway to Heaven (caramel, pistachio served iced with cold brew).

Coastlands Coffee is the newest coffee shop in Foley, AL. This gorgeous coffee shop is the perfect spot for relaxing with your favorite drink.

They serve a true machiatto, delicious chai, and so much more.

Menu highlights - Smoothies, Espresso Drinks (Espresso, Cappuccino, Macchiato, Cortado, Americano, Cap on the Rocks, and Latte), Seasonal drinks, Chai Latte, Matcha Latte, loose leaf teas, and more.

MC's matcha mule - Matcha tea concentrate, cranberry syrup, lime juice and ginger ale.

While not technically a coffee shop we would be short changing this post if we didn't include The Copper Kettle Tea Bar.

This Foley Tea Shop feels like you have walked into a fairy tale world with great food and so many tea options.

Make a reservation for High Tea and enjoy a dessert tea, royal tea, afternoon tea, and even a Children's Teddy Bear Tea! Make sure to watch their social channels for themed tea events! The Shire Tea is a Hobbit Worth dining experience that is not to be missed.

The Drowsy Poet Coffee Company is housed in a converted 1950's service station right on McKenzie Street in the heart of Foley, Alabama.

They have great indoor and outdoor seating, ready made snacks and cookies, and great drinks named after poets.

Menu highlights - The Drowsy Poet Menu includes classic coffee drinks, chai tea, Italian sodas, and smoothies.

They also have baked goods near the register and a refrigerator with ready to enjoy breakfast sandwiches and quiches.

They roast specialty Arabica beans to produce the best coffee flavors. The master roasters pay careful attention to bean selection to create a complex cup of coffee that tastes amazing.

Go for the Bagels stay for the coffee! They have amazing seasonal drinks along with your favorite espresso drinks.

We highly suggest going hungry and trying one of their bagel sandwiches. My husband says to get the S.E.C. (Steak, egg and cheese), I don't think you can go wrong with any of their bagels
