When I told my husband I wanted to drive to Foley for bagels, he looked at me like...hmmm if you say so.
After biting into the Eh There Bud Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, he looked at me and said that he would be dropping hints to visit Bagel Boy in Foley, Alabama, frequently.
I am not sure what he thought we were getting, but it definitely was not the epic goodness that occurred at Bagel Boy!
Hello yum!!! These may have been the best bagels I have had anywhere in the world. Super soft with the perfect chewy bite blending together with amazing flavor.
Perfectly executed hand-rolled, East Coast style bagels are waiting for you!
Bagel Boy announced they are working on plans for a lunch menu and to be open 7 days a week at the Downtown Foley, Alabama location! They are closing the Gulf Shores location to focus on Foley.
Indoor Seating
There are a couple of rooms in the Foley location for indoor seating. The chairs are comfortable, and the atmosphere of the bagel shop is amazing.
We found ourselves singing along to the fun music playing, chatting with the amazing employees, and truly enjoying our time.
Outdoor Seating
The Foley location has a variety of outdoor chairs and tables. Including a giant Adirondack chair perfect for fun photos.
Bagel Boy Foley Menu
It is hard to pick what to order from the Bagel Boy in Foley. We stood in front of the menu board trying to decide what to order for longer than I want to admit.
Menu Highlights - It is hard to decide what is a highlight because it all tastes so good!
Bagel Varieties - Plain, Everything, Cheddar Everything, Sesame, Poppy, Asiago, Blueberry, and French Toast.
Schmears & Butters - plain schmear, salted butter, honey butter, scallion, Southern Chili Lab, Berry, Maple Cinnamon, and special varieties.
House-made Pop tarts - Cinnamon and Wild Berry
Egg & Cheese - Your choice of bagel, with two eggs and cheddar. Pictured above on an Asiago Bagel.
The Classic - Plain bagel, Wrights Hickory Bacon, two fried eggs, cheddar, spicy Dukes Mayo.
Spicy Boy - Cheddar Everything Bagel, Conecuh Sausage, Fried eggs, Cheddar, SCL Schmear
The Great Debate - Plain Bagel, Taylor Ham/pork roll, Two eggs, America, SPK
Eh There Bud - French Toast Bagel, Conecuh Sausage, Scrambled Egg, American Cheese, Maple Cinnamon Schmear
A.B.C - French Toast Bagel, Scrambled Eggs, Cheddar Cheese, Amish Apple Butter (You can add bacon or Conecuh Sausage)
Lox & Loaded - Everything Bagel, Cold Smoked Salmon, Scallion Schmear, Red Onion, Tomatoes, capers
S.E.C. - Plain Bagel, Shredded Ribeye, Scrambled egg, Sauteed Onions, American Cheese
Baked Goods - cheese Danish, muffins, cinnamon rolls, savory Danishes.
Cold Brew Coffees - Plain, Vanilla, Mocha, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and rotating flavors.
Chai - I NEED YOU TO TRY A CHAI! This is the spiciest chai I have found since we moved to the Gulf Coast of Alabama. So Delicious!
Lunch Menu
Smash Burger - 2 patties, sauteed onion, American cheese, shredded lettuce, Burger Sauce on a potato bun.
Asiago Turkey Club - Turkey, Bacon, Shredded lettuce, tomato, spicy Dukes mayo, Southern Chili Lab schmear on an Asiago Bun.
Pastrami Reuben - Pastrami, Swiss cheese, Poppy slaw, Russian Dressing on marbled rye.
Italian Fight Club - Soppressata, Hickory Ham, Provolone, Shredded Lettuce, red Onion, Cherry Peppers, Italian Vinaigrette, on a Hoagie Roll.
Kids Menu - There isn't a designated kids menu that we saw.
Gluten-Free - Check the FB page to see what is available.
Vegan - Check the Bagel Boy Facebook Page to see if they have vegan items from Lindsey Bakes in store. We tried the oatmeal cream pie cookies and they were beyond amazing.
The coffee syrups are also vegan and organic.
Vegetarian - The egg and cheese bagel is delicious!
