Take a break from the beach and grab some great food, take cute Instagram pics, and have a great cocktail.

Over the past few years, Picnic Beach Restaurant has tried a few different menus and offerings.

You may have enjoyed a smoothie or barbecue during a previous visit to the restaurant.

They have a new menu packed with local favorites, including peel-and-eat shrimp, tuna ceviche, Kajun crab dip, salads, bowls of goodness, burgers, and, of course, a shrimp boil.

I need you to try their boba tea! As I type this I am dreaming about an ice cold passion fruit boba tea! Or maybe the mango boba tea! Ok, I might just order both and share with my husband.

They are so good we can't stop talking about them.

I love the atmosphere at Picnic Beach. It is comfortable, casual, beachy, and fun! I found myself taking photos of the great wall art and inspirational quotes.

You can't help but leave with good vibes and a smile.

Boba Bubble Tea - I dream of the passion fruit boba fruit tea and mango boba fruit tea. They are so good!

Caribbean Bowl - Blackened chicken with jasmine rice, avocado, grape tomatoes, sweet and sour cauliflower, roasted corn salsa, and pineapple with a house made smoked tomato aioli and cilantro.

Buffalo Chicken Basket - Marinated chicken tenders that are hand breaded and gently fried served on top of a mound of fries then drizzles with house made buffalo sauce and creamy ranch.

Cayman Coconut Shrimp - The perfect blend of crispy and crunchy shrimp that are coated in coconut. Served with a pineapple sweet chili dipping sauce.

Picnic Shrimp Boil - ½ pound of fresh Gulf shrimp, Conecuh sausage, red potatoes, and sweet corn seasoned and served with Old Bay butter, house made remoulade, cocktail sauce, and a lemon.

Beach Burger - Bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, red onion, tomato, lettuce and Wickles topped with a house made remoulade.

Kids Menu - The kids menu has a fried shrimp basket, chicken tenders, and kids mac and cheese.

Gluten-Free - There is shrimp, salads (minus the cheese and meat) and bowls.

Vegan Options - Vegan bowl with marinated tofu, jasmine rice, Frank's hot sauce marinated black-eyed pea salad, seaweed salad, avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shaved radish, and pineapple.

Accessibility - There is a ramp leading up to the main level of the restaurant from the parking area.

Plus Size Seating - The seats do not have arms and are really comfortable. They do have picnic tables outside with fixed benches. There are nice plastic seats near the picnic tables.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual

Pets - Pets are allowed on the outside patio areas. They must be on a leash at all times. Pets are not allowed on tables, benches or chairs.

Parking  - There is parking for guests only under the restaurant.
