Sheraton Metairie New Orleans
We have stayed at the Sheraton Metairie New Orleans many times. It is one of our favorite hotels near the New Orleans airport and a great base for exploring the city.
The location puts you between Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and downtown New Orleans, which makes it easy to get in from a flight and get out to the French Quarter without feeling like you are stuck on either end of the trip.
The rooms are comfortable with room to move around it. We are always taking an early morning flight out of the New Orleans airport and ever time I hate leaving the bed it is so comfy.
There is a covered parking garage next to the hotel with covered access into the hotel, making it easy to move your bags in and out if you are heading to the airport.
