Gambino's Bakery in New Orleans, Louisiana, is known for its Doberge Cakes, Mardi Gras King Cakes, and fantastic baked goods.

Gambino's Bakery
We were first introduced to Gambino's Bakery a few years ago when we ordered King Cakes to be delivered to our house in Spokane, Washington.
The King Cakes were amazing, and they were even shipped across the country. We knew that as soon as we lived on the Gulf Coast, a visit to Gambino's Bakery had to happen.
Our first visit to Gambino's was during Carnival Season. We wanted to pick up a couple of fresh King Cakes right from the source. I really wish we would have picked up a few more and frozen them so we could have them later in the year.
Gambino's Bakery has been a New Orleans tradition since 1949. If you are visiting NOLA we highly recommend heading to the Metairie location to pick up a sweet treat that tastes amazing.
