Cosmos Restaurant & Bar

We love visiting Cosmos for lunch and enjoying their amazing specials. That being said it is also a great date night restaurant.

Truly anytime is a good time to visit this fun Orange Beach Restaurant. The restaurant has a fun vibe, great food, and a menu that has a variety of options everyone will love.

Indoor Seating

There is a lot more seating inside of Cosmos than you may expect from looking at the outside. There are multiple rooms with tables and chairs spread out between them.

The walls are vibrant and covered in fun paintings. We love coming at lunch so it is bright and we can check out all of the artwork. There are so many epic pieces of art.

Indoor Bar

There is an indoor bar right off of the restaurant offering seating and TVs to enjoy football games and so much more.

The restaurant bar is far from ordinary!

Outdoor Seating

There is outdoor seating on the patio in front of the restaurant.

Cosmos Orange Beach Menu

Cosmo's Restaurant in Orange Beach has a great menu with tons of specialties. Enjoy Gulf seafood, Gulf favorite dishes, and more.

Menu Highlights

Chicken Roulade - Bacon wrapped chicken breast stuffed with asparagus and Gruyere cheese, lightly sauteed and finished in the oven. Served with a sage and leek cream sauce and Parmesan risotto.

Seafood Pasta - Tender bay shrimp, Blue crabmeat, sweet green peas, broccoli florets, sun-dried tomatoes, tossed with pappardelle pasta in a chardonnay cream sauce, topped with Parmesan Cheese.

Fettuccine Alfredo - I dream of this pasta! Oh my goodness the pasta is unbelievable. Thick cut strips of fettuccine noodles that perfectly hold the traditional cream sauce. I just with it came with a piece of garlic bread to get every last drop of sauce it is that good.

Black-n-Bleu Shrimp - Blackened Gulf shrimp, applewood bacon, red onion, romaine lettuce and bleu cheese dressing in a garlic and herb tortilla.

Muffaletta - Layers of ham, salami, provolone and smoked Gouda cheese with housemade olive relish on a toasted Gambino's muffuletta bun.

Duck and Andouille Sausage Gumbo - Rich and meaty with okra, tomatoes, onions and peppers in traditional dark roux. The perfect bowl of Southern comfort.

Fish "taco" Burrito - Fried fresh Gulf fish with jack and cheddar cheeses, red onion, tomato, lettuce, shredded cabbage and cilantro lime aioli wrapped in a garlic and herb tortilla.

Fish sandwich - Grilled, blackened or fried. Served on a toasted sourdough bun with lettuce, tomato and red onion.

Cosmo's Club - Smoked turkey, sliced ham, applewood bacon, romaine lettuce, tomato and Havarti cheese with caramelized onion Dijon mayonnaise in a garlic and herb tortilla.

Banana leaf wrapped sea bass - Listed as one of the "100 Things to Eat in Alabama Before You Die." part of the year of Alabama food. The banana leaf wrapped fish is a Chilean sea bass rubbed with our herb butter and special seasonings, wrapped in banana leaves and baked. Served with house rice and lemon garlic asparagus.

Catfish - Baked andouille crusted Alabama farm raised catfish filet topped with meunière sauce and served with crushed Yukon gold potatoes and a vegetable medley.

Grilled Shrimp - A dozen citrus marinated large Gulf shrimp skewered and grilled. Served with Parmesan risotto and drizzled with criola tomato sauce.

Hamburger - A gourmet blend of Certified Angus Beef® ground chuck, short rib and brisket, chargrilled and served on a toasted sourdough bun with lettuce, tomato and red onion.  You can add cheese and bacon.

Po'boy - Shrimp, Fish or Oyster - Lightly fried, served on a toasted French loaf with lettuce and tomato.

Pork Chop - A 12 oz. bone in Heritage Farms Cheshire pork chop brined and chargrilled. Served with house grits, ginger greens and creole mustard demi glace.

Side dishes include - Dirty Risotto, Lemon garlic asparagus, ginger greens, house rice, crushed Yukon gold potatoes, Parmesan risotto, vegetable medley, roasted garlic and smoked bacon grits, cole slaw, and French fries.

Appetizer Menu Highlights

Firecracker shrimp - Lightly dusted bay shrimp fried and tossed in a spicy remoulade sauce.

Crab Claws - "BBQ" served in a Creole butter sauce or fried with a cocktail sauce.

Savory Cheesecake - Blue crab, apple smoked bacon, spinach and Parmesan cheese blended with cream cheese and eggs and baked. Served with meunière sauce.

Calamari - Lightly dusted, flash fried and served with housemade marinara.

Famous Crab Cakes - Topped with fire roasted yellow pepper aioli and house remoulade.

Cheese Dip - A silky blend of Swiss cheese, Parmesan and locally made Sweet Home Farm Elberta cheeses. Topped with crumbled feta and roasted tomato relish. Served with house baked pita chips. This dip is NOT vegetarian.

Salad Menu Highlights

Tomato and Burrata Salad - SO GOOD - Creamy burrata cheese and heirloom tomatoes over a bed of house greens with olive oil, basil oil and balsamic reduction.

Sesame Seared Tuna Salad - A filet of yellowfin tuna coated with sesame seeds and seared. Served over a bed of house greens tossed sun-dried cranberries, toasted sunflower seeds and crispy noodles in a ginger soy vinaigrette

Salmon Salad - Fresh Atlantic grilled salmon nestled on a bed of house greens, tossed in a honey vinaigrette. Served with julienned apricots, red onion, cherry tomatoes and roasted pecans.

House Salad - A blend of romaine and spring greens with peppadews, cucumbers, tomatoes and red onion.

Lunch Special Menu

The daily lunch special is fantastic! So many great options for a great price.

Fried Rice - choice of chicken or shrimp served over Asian-style bacon fried rice.

Fried Shrimp - Fried bay shrimp served with fries and slaw.

Tuna Poke Bowl - Yellowfin tuna tossed in soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, fresh ginger, and garlic, served over jasmine rice, topped with jalapeños, green onions, cucumbers, spicy mayonnaise, eel sauce, and sesame seeds. This dish is served cold

Fried Catfish - Fried catfish strips served with roasted bacon grits, ginger greens, and a side of tartar sauce.

Pot Stickers - Pork pot stickers and house slaw sautéed in a ginger soy vinaigrette, topped with crispy wonton strips and green onions.

Shrimp Etouffee - Sautéed bay shrimp in a traditional étouffée sauce, served over jasmine rice, and topped with green onions.

Dessert options - Cosmo's banana fritters, creme brulee, soul Lovin' puddin', peanut butter pie, key lime pie, and Cosmo's Chocolate creation

Kids Menu - The kids menu for ages 12 and under includes a hamburger, cheeseburger, fish (grilled or fried), Chicken (grilled or fried), Shrimp (grilled or fried), noodles with marinara or alfredo sauce.

Gluten-Free - There is a designated Gluten-Free menu available online. Menu options include Crab Claws, Sesame Seared Tuna, Salmon Salad, House Salad, Caesar Salad, Tomato and Burrata Salad.

Fresh catch, Banana leaf wrapped sea bass, USDA beef tenderloin filet, grilled shrimp, Asian glazed tuna, Ribeye, Tournedos, Surf-n-turf, Parmesan risotto, Dirty Risotto, lemon garlic asparagus, ginger greens, and more.

Vegan - Salads are the best options.

Vegetarian - One thing to know is there is chicken stock in the cheese dip appetizer. I was so sad when I found out that it had chicken stock in it.

The burrata salad is great but I saw the cheese dip and was so hoping to try it. The fettuccine alfredo is delicious! Some of the best pasta I have had in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores.

A little off the beaten path on Canal Road but so worth visiting! They serve traditional gulf favorite menu options in a fun atmosphere.

Sunday - Thursday 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Friday - Saturday 11 a.m. to 10:00 p.m

Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that hours have not changed.

Accessibility - There are ramps from the sides of the building that lead up to the restaurant. There is a bit of a lip from the parking lot to the concrete near the ramp.

Plus Size Seating - The indoor tables do not have arms on the chairs. They were really comfortable.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual to date night dress

Pets - Pets are allowed on the outdoor patio.

Parking  - Parking is around both sides of the restaurant and out front.
