Las Palmas is a great triangle shaped building wrapped around an outdoor pool and bbq area. There are two levels of vacation rental units with parking under the buildings.
Located on West Beach Blvd Las Palmas is close to great Gulf Shores restaurants and the beach.
Rental Types
Las Palmas has 52 total units built in 1984, all in a single floor plan: 2-bedroom, 2-bath. The complex is located across the street from Gulf beach access on West Beach Boulevard, with private balconies facing either Little Lagoon or the pool area depending on unit orientation. Units are individually owned and furnished.
Two Bedroom, Two Bath - 750 square feet. King or queen primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Guest bedroom with queen, full, or twin beds depending on the unit. Sleeper sofa in living room for additional sleeping capacity. Private balcony with lagoon or pool views. Fully equipped kitchen. Sleeps 4 to 7 depending on bedding configuration.
Note that Las Palmas is located across the street from the beach rather than directly on the Gulf. Beach access is a short walk across West Beach Boulevard. Many units have views of Little Lagoon from the balcony.
There is no elevator at Las Palmas. Units are accessed by stairs. Please consider this before booking for guests with mobility restrictions or groups with significant luggage.

Las Palmas is located just a short walk to public beach access on West Beach Boulevard across the street from the complex.
Make sure to check the daily beach warning flags before entering the Gulf.
Outdoor Pools
The outdoor pools are located in the middle of the building making them easy to access from all condo units. There are lounge chairs spread around the pool deck.
Barbecue Area
The BBQ area at Las Palmas is one of my favorites in Gulf Shores. It is close to the pool, surrounded by the buildings, and has a great seating area for relaxing while your dinner cooks.
