We have been on the hunt for the best ice cream in Gulf Shores, Alabama. It has been crazy hot, and we love having a reason to get out in town to find the best sweet treats.

Visitors and locals will love the sweet treat options available at Scoops Olde Fashion Ice Cream shop located right in the heart of the Gulf Shores Area.

Ice cream is the perfect dessert for a Gulf Coast vacation. Spend the day enjoying our amazing beaches and then head out for a quality ice cream cone or sundae.

If you are craving a sundae or ice cream cone, we highly recommend scoops. My husband would happily enjoy the Graham Central Station or brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream any chance he gets.

We drive by Scoops Gulf Shores almost daily as we run errand in town and my husband always mentions he is craving a yummy ice-cream. LOL.

There are a couple of small tables inside with plastic chairs.

Menu Highlights

Scoops Ice Cream offers cones (cake, sugar, and waffle), Sundaes, Banana Split, Hot Fudge Brownie Delight, Root Beer or Coke Float, or a Fizz.

Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae - Warm brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, peanuts or pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Turtle Sundae - Vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, caramel, pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Banana Splits - Vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, strawberry, and pineapple toppings, peanuts or pecans, whipped cream, and cherries.

Kids Menu - The entire ice cream shop is a kiddo's dream.

Gluten-Free - The flavor labels for each ice cream flavor designate if it is gluten-free

Vegan - Sorbet is available

Vegetarian - We did not see any flavors that would not be vegetarian.
