WonderWorks Panama City Beach
We loved spending time exploring WonderWorks in Panama City Beach! My Husband told me he was blown away by how much fun he had.
You can't miss the upside-down building while driving through Panama City Beach. Inside, you will find 29,000 square feet filled with edu-tainment.
From the moment we walked into the hurricane simulator and then tried our hand at touching electricity, sparks flew, and we couldn't stop laughing.
We felt like kids again as we tried the different simulators, experiments, and fun interactive moments.

✨What's New in Panama City Beach

WonderWorks PCB has more than 100 hands-on exhibits that will make you laugh, teach you a few things, and spark your imagination.
There are tons of different interactive experiences to enjoy. Some of them are additional expenses, so make sure to ask at the front what your ticket covers.
Once you walk through the entrance doors, you can explore six Wonder Zones filled with fun adventures.
- Extreme Weather Zone
- Physical Challenge Zone
- Space Discovery Zone
- Light & Sound Zone
- Imagination Lab
- Wonder Art Gallery

When you enter from the main entrance the first thing you experience is the inversion tunnel.
If you are sensitive to motion sickness or have any physical restrictions, you may want to ask for the alternative entrance.
The inversion tunnel makes you feel like you are spinning while walking through it. I went through it a couple of times, and each time I felt like I was moving to the point I was pressed against the railing, trying to stay upright.

Extreme Weather Zone
I can honestly say I never thought I would willingly stick my hand into a glove and become a human lightning rod, but you know I had to do it while visiting WonderWorks.
The Tesla Coil emits 100,000 volts while you are wearing the mesh, steel armor glove.
The Hurricane Shack felt so good after being outside on a hot day in Panama City Beach. The 74-mile-per-hour hurricane-force winds were the perfect way to cool off.
If you have ever wondered just how cold the water was when the Titanic sank, you can find out by sticking your hands in water that is 28 degrees.

There is a three-story indoor ropes course that gives you the opportunity to scale 20 different obstacles. Get ready to cross over suspension bridges, swinging beams, lily pads, and more while enjoying black light glow-in-the-dark neon fun.

Space Discovery Zone
Step up into a spacesuit and get a fantastic photo while also learning about what astronauts need to do to work outside their spacecraft.
Take the Astronaut Training Challenge and take a spin on the two-person gyroscope.
Climb into a replica of the Mercury Capsule and experience what lying inside this one-person vehicle is like.
Take a ride on a Wonder Coaster where you can choose your adventure and dream roller coaster.

Physical Challenge Zone
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to lie down willingly on a bed of nails? At WonderWorks PCB, you can experience lying down on 3,500 nails that rise from a flat platform.
It is one of my favorite things we did at WonderWorks in Panama City Beach. I was so nervous but also excited to push myself to try it out. I am so glad I pushed myself to press the button and feel the nails rising up under me.
The Bubble Lab is so much fun! You can't help but giggle and laugh as you try to make a giant bubble with the wands.
The VIP Combo ticket includes the Grave Digger experience. Through Virtual Reality, you are put in the driver's seat of this world-famous Monster Truck.

Imagination Lab
80s Kids, get ready to enjoy a giant light brite that feels like a dream come true. I will fully admit to spending hours playing with my small light brite as a kid, and could happily spend hours playing with this one at WonderWorks PCB.
The Dig It Sandbox is an interactive sandbox that kids and adults will love. As you move the sand around, the landscape changes, and you will be amazed at the animals and scenery that appear.
Gear Works is a fun, interactive board that showcases how gears work together.

Light and Sound Zone
Get ready to dance in front of a screen and watch your shadows multiply in Recollections.
Strike a pose and see what your shadow really looks like. Play music on the giant piano as you move from key to key.
