What's New in Panama City Beach 2025
There is a lot happening in Panama City Beach right now! New attractions, dinner shows, restaurants, hotels, and more new openings!
New Restaurants in Panama City Beach, Florida, include Pirate's Voyage, Breux's Crab Shack, McGuire's Irish Pub, and so many more.
PCB is known for its 27 miles of sugar-white sand beaches, and these new openings are going to bring even more to this fun, vibrant destination.
Locals and visitors will be able to enjoy these fun new additions to Panama City Beach!
Sunnyside Grill - Closing
Sunnyside Grill announced they will be closing as of Sunday December 7th, 2025.
The Black Pearl Pirate Ship - Sunk to create new artificial reef
The Black Pearl Pirate Ship from Pirates of the Caribbean has been sunk in 75 feet of water off of Panama City Beach to create a new artificial reef.
Steel flags, cannons, a steering wheel, a treasure chest and more were welded onto the ship to make it a fun dive site.
The Black Pearl Pirate Ship was built in Bayou La Batre, Alabama for the 2nd and 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Duplin Winery - Adding a vineyard
Duplin Winery will be adding an on-site vineyard
Biscuit Belly - opening 20206
Biscuit Belly announced they will be opening their breakfast only restaurant in Panama City Beach
Swampy Jack Wongo's - New Loop Coaster
Swampy Jack Wongo's Adventure is adding a brand new Loop Coaster!
Wild Encounters - Capybara Cafe
Wild Encounters a Capybara Cafe will be opening next to Zoo World.

License to Chill - Now open at Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort
Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort recently opened the Licensed To Chill Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant has amazing pork nachos, burgers, salads, appetizers and great frosty drinks!
Clubhouse now open at Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort
Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort also opened its new clubhouse, which includes the Fins Up! Fitness Center, Fin City Arcade, Joe Merchand's Provisions, and License to Chill Restaurant.
Coming soon is a gorgeous new event space on the 3rd floor of the clubhouse. We had the chance to look at the event space while it is under construction and it is going to be the place to host holiday parties, family reunions, and so much more!
Tootsies Orchid Lounge - New location being built
Tootsies Orchid Lounge is opening a giant new space on the beach! They have been open in Pier Park since 2008. While the Pier Park location is now closed they are moving to a larger location right on the beach.
They are taking over what was the Spinnaker and creating a new live entertainment complex right on the beach!
The new Tootsies Orchid Lounge looks like it will be at least three stories of fun!
Fatty's Sandwich Shop - Expanding
Fatty's Sandwich Shop is expanding its Thomas Drive location. The expansion will include additional seating, a stage for live music, and more.

Top Golf - Now open near Pier Park
Topgolf has opened near Pier Park, offering 74 outdoor, climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, along with a 22-foot video wall and more than 140 HDTVs!
This is a great new thing to do in Panama City Beach, the entire family will enjoy!
Foghorns Bar and Package - Closed
Foghorns Bar and Package closed on September 2, 2025. The building is being torn down.
They are working to secure a new location.
Hook'd Pier Bar & Grill - Rebuilding
Hook'd Pier Bar & Grill announced they will be rebuilding after being damaged by fire. They hope to re-open by Spring 2026
The new Hook'd Pier Bar & Grill will have more seating, a bigger deck, and two floors!
Pirate's Voyage and Dinner Show - Now Open
Dolly Parton's Pirate's Voyage Dinner Show is now open in Panama City Beach's Pier Park area!
Guests enjoy a four-course feast, epic pirate battles with stunts you won't believe! You can't miss the 60,000 square foot indoor theater as you drive through PCB.
The pirate show includes a pirate battle on deck, in the water of a 15-foot-deep lagoon, and in the sky above the two full-sized pirate ships.
The show includes playful sea lions, tropical birds, high-flying acrobatics, and pyrotechnics.
Skywheel is now PCB Wheel
Dolly Parton's company, World Choice Investments LLC, has purchased the SkyWheel and renamed it the PCB Wheel.
2025 Annual Passes will be honored until they expire and do not need to be re-done.
Breaux's Crab Shack - Open
Breaux's Crab Shack has opened in the same complex as Gypsea Crepes and Jesse's Place.
They have Boil plates including Gulf Shrimp, Blue Crabs, Snow Crab sluster, Lobster tail, and more! They also offer group platters and by the pound plates.
You can build your own custom boil with tons of options including Key West Pink Shrimp, Blue Crab, Gulf Shrip, Royal Red Shrimp, and the standard fixings of corn, potatoes, onions, garlic, mushrooms and sausage.

Neons Beach Shack - Closed July 2025
Neons Beach Shack has officially closed their doors. They have a new location Neons Bar 72 in Bay Point.
McGuire's Irish Pub - Now Open
McGuire's Irish Pub is open in Panama City Beach, serving delicious food in a fun lively atmosphere.
This is the third location of the New York Irish Saloon-themed restaurant. They also have locations in Destin and Pensacola.
Shell Point Beach & Surf Club - Opening 2027
Shell Point Beach & Surf Club will be built just east of the new Top Golf complex near Pier Park.
Shell Point Beach & Surf Club has partnered with Endless Surf to bring year-round perfect waves to the Emerald Coast!
The complex will be a 10.5 acre surf destination! Shell Point will include a family-friendly beach, pool, leisure zones, kids' splash pad, two-story open-air clubhouse with restaurant and bar, plus event space.
They will have a members' beach club with a private pool and spa. A swim-up bar with views of the Endless Surf Lagoon.
A surf academy with surf coaching catered to beginners to the pro level.
Construction will begin in 2026 with the goal of opening the doors in 2027.
Frank Brown Park Skate Park
The new skate park will have a state-of-the-art facility designed for skaters of all skill levels and ages.
Frank Brown Park Pickleball Courts
If you are looking for a place to play Pickleball in PCB, you will want to check out the 10 new pickleball courts in Frank Brown Park when they are completed.
The Milkshake Factory - Opened May 2025
PCB MilkShake Factory has opened at Pier Park North! They serve handspun milkshakes made with homemade ice cream and gourmet chocolate!
Their signature milkshake is the chocolate Cake Shake made with a chocolate layer cake swirled with chocolate ganache frosting and creamy vanilla ice cream. Topped with a housemade chocolate cake pop...yum!

Palmetto Moon has opened a new store in Pier Park!
Beach Cow Creamery - Now Open

Ford's Garage is now open at Pier Park! They serve all-American favorites in a unique vintage atmosphere.
