If you are looking for an easy beach vacation in Panama City Beach, you are going to love the Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort!
We stayed in a 5-bedroom resort cottage close to the Oasis Pool, and it was perfect for a long weekend getaway. We had so much fun during our hosted stay that we are already talking about when we can come back and stay in a Surf Bungalow, Waterside Retreat, or the dreamy Beach Villas to see what other vacation home options are like.
One of the things we loved about our stay at Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort is that you don't have to leave the property to have a great time. We made a quick stop at Target to grab the items we had forgotten to pack, and then spent the rest of our getaway floating on the lazy river and playing in the pool.
You can spend your entire getaway relaxing on-site and having a wonderful time, or you can easily explore Panama City Beach. The resort is located in the heart of Panama City Beach, close to Pier Park and tons of attractions.
All of the vacation homes are close to the Oasis Pool, beach access, and the on-site restaurants. It truly feels like you have flown to paradise and are escaping reality while enjoying the resort.
Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort PCB accommodations
Beach Villa
These luxurious beachfront villas have gorgeous Gulf views, six bedrooms, easy beach access, and the perfect deck to enjoy the natural beauty of the Florida Gulf Coast.
There are two types of Beach Villa vacation rentals:
- Paradise Villas - Private Pool & First Floor Kitchen
- Oasis Villas - Private Pool and 2nd Floor Kitchen
Both Beach Villa layouts include an in-home elevator, fully furnished in luxurious tropical decor, easy access to the white sands of Panama City Beach from an elevated boardwalk to the beach, along with a fully furnished beachfront patio.
Beach Villa Amenities Include 4,000 square feet of Gulf Front Living, six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, chef-inspired open kitchen, built in gas grill, full-sized washer and dryer, four parking spaces, OK 2 charge EV charging station, and a game room!
Waterside Retreat
Waterside Retreat Vacation Rentals are located on the main Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort Property right across the street from easy beach access.
These vacation rentals sleep up to 14 people in luxurious coastal comfort.
There are two types of Waterside Retreat vacation rentals:
- Escape Waterside Retreat - 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath
- Daydreamin' Waterside Retreat - 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath
Waterside Retreat rentals feature partial Gulf views in a 3-story coastal home. The houses are fully furnished with a chef-inspired kitchen and furnished outdoor spaces.
The Waterside Retreat vacation rentals are close to the pool and easy access to the white sand private beach.
Resort Cottage
We stayed in a 5-bedroom Resort Cottage at Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort, and it was amazing.
The house has everything you need for an incredibly relaxing stay. The first floor has a main bedroom, private bathroom, a half bath near the front door, a chef's kitchen with a Margaritaville margarita maker, a Dining room table that comfortably seats eight people, a living room area with a large flat screen, and access to the back porch with outdoor seating and a hot tub.
The 2nd floor features four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom (two bedrooms share a shower), as well as a washer and dryer.
There are also 4 bedroom resort cottages, along with poolside resort cottages.

Surf Bungalow
Surf Bungalows at Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort sleep up to 6 people. They have 760 square feet of living space with a king bed, loft room with bunks, and two full baths. The full kitchen has a stove top, microwave, wet bar, and pod coffee maker.
They are so cute! Each Surf Bungalow has a private porch so you can relax and enjoy the gorgeous weather.

Private Beach Access
Directly across the street from the main resort is easy beach access. They have beach services set up on the beach so you can rent chairs and umbrellas, paddleboards, and other fun beach amenities. Beach chair services can be reserved in advance with the ront desk or at the beach kiosk.
The beach is gorgeous! Soft white sand, gorgeous tropical Gulf water, and all the Florida Gulf Coast views.
Oasis Resort Pool
The Oasis Resort Pool is the place to be! The pool deck has comfortable lounge chairs, easy access to the pool, lazy river, and water slides, and lots of fun events.
We spent an entire day at the Oasis Pool and had so much fun! The pool is heated year-round and feels amazing.
H2O Adventure Water Slides
During your stay, you can enjoy two adventure waterslides. The yellow slide is enclosed, and the blue slide is open-topped, so you get to decide which one to try first.
I went down the blue slide multiple times, and it was so much fun!
Poolside cabana
Having a poolside cabana was amazing! The couch is super comfy to relax on when you need a break from the sun. There are cold water bottles in the fridge hidden inside the cabinet.
We absolutely loved relaxing in the poolside cabana. Next time I will be bringing a new book to read with a frosty beverage in the cabana.
Lazy River
If you are looking to relax and let the water softly move you the lazy river is the place you want to be! Grab a pool floatie, get comfy, and let the warm waters of the lazy river gently move you around the loop.
Fins Up! Fitness Center
Located on the 2nd floor of Joe Merchant's Provisions Marketplace is a full gym with free weights, weight machines, exercise bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, and more. There is a yoga room with mats for anyone who would like to use it.
Fin City Arcade
The Fin City Arcade is located on the 2nd floor of the marketplace and features a variety of fun arcade games, including Ms. Pac-Man.
Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort Restaurants and Bars
License to Chill
License to Chill is located next to Joe Merchant's Provisions and the Oasis Pool Deck. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full menu available for lunch and dinner.
We enjoyed lunch and dinner at License to Chill a couple of times during our stay, and it was fantastic every time. I NEED you to order the pork nachos! The BBQ sour cream sauce is the perfect addition to nachos, and now I need to try to recreate them at home.
The pork nachos are so good, we had them every day! We also really enjoyed the club wrap, margherita flatbread, and burger. The margherita flatbread crust is amazing.
Make sure to visit Mo at the bar. She is an amazing bartender who will make you a fantastic drink!
Salty Rim Bar
Located next to the Oasis Pool, making it easy to grab a delicious drink while enjoying the pool deck.
Joe Merchant's Provisions
Joe Merchant's Provision is a combination gift shop, grocery market, and cafe. You will find cold drinks in the fridge, snacks available, along with the opportunity to buy a Margaritaville margarita maker, t-shirts, and so much more.
