The Peach Cobbler Factory - Coming Soon
The Peach Cobbler Factory will be coming to Foley, Alabama, soon! We just saw the sign added to a new complex in Foley.

Novel Rose Book & Snack Bar - Coming Soon
There is a new sign for the Novel Rose Book & Snack Bar opening soon next to the Book Exchange of Foley off of Laurel Ave.
First Watch coming to Foley???
The local rumor mill is swirling that First Watch may take over the old O'Charley's building in Foley.
Construction work has started, but no signs have been put up to confirm this rumor...
El Mezquite Co.
El Mezquite Co. has opened where Foley Cheesesteak Company was on South McKenzie St.
The menu includes burrito supreme, huevo con chorizo, taco plate, chimichangas, enchiladas plate, el mesquite bowl, fajitas, pollo el mesquite, quesadillas, and more.

Goodwill breaks ground on a new facility.
Goodwill broke ground on the largest Goodwill Facility in the area. It is building a new 50,000-square-foot facility just off of South McKenzie Street.
South Baldwin Regional Medical Center is now Baldwin Health.
South Baldwin Regional Medical Center announced its new name, Baldwin Health.
They have expanded their capacity with an additional 185,000-square-foot facility, which will open later this month.
Black Cat Vegan Bakery - Now Open
Black Cat Vegan Bakery is opening in Foley, offering delicious vegan pastries! We have tried many of her pastries at Bagel Boy and loved them.
My husband often talks about their oatmeal cream pies and can't wait to get one again. Black Cat Vegan Bakery is opening in front of what will be Cheeseburger Randy's.

Mi Pueblito Cocina Mexican Restaurant
New Mexican restaurant in Foley! Mi Pueblito Cocina Mexicana is open on McKenzie St. They offer Mole Veracruzano, Rajas en crema con Pollo, Mexican penne alfredo, pollito crazy grilled chicken, quesadilla meal, burritos, ceviche, and so much more.
They have authentic street tacos on homemade tortillas, all-day breakfast, and fajitas, and those are just some of the menu items.

Foley Rose Trail wins State Main Street Award
The City of Foley was honored with the Planning and Public Space Award of Excellence by Main Street, Alabama.
The award recognizes the Wilbourne Antique Rose Trail that follows the track of the former L&N Railroad line.
The walking path is filled with native plants, flowers, and antique roses.
Cooper Twins Consignment - Now Open
Cooper Twins Consignment announced they are opening a 2nd location in Downtown Foley.

Camellia Dermatology - Now Open
Camellia Dermatology has opened a Downtown Foley location! They offer Botox and Dysport, fillers, spider vein help, facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, Advatx Laser, microneedling, and more in the clinic.
The clinic offers state-of-the-art dermatology care in Foley.

Creekside Go Karts - Under Construction
Creekside Mini Golf is expanding and adding Creekside Go-Karts. Concrete is being poured to create a fun new Foley activity!

Cobblestone Inn - Under Construction
A new Cobblestone Inn is being built on the corner of Miflin Road (County Rd 20) and Konair Way. The hotel will have 73 rooms.
The Cobblestone Hotel website says the hotel will be dog-friendly ($25 per dog per night). It will also have an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, high-speed internet, guest laundry, complimentary breakfast, and other amenities.

New Pickleball Courts - Under Construction
New pickleball courts are being built behind the Coastal Alabama Farmers's and Fishermen's Market off of Miflin Rd.
There will be nine new pickleball courts when the project is complete. We have also seen that there may be 10 sand volleyball courts built.
Beach Express Publix - Under Construction
If you are driving down the Beach Express across from Tropic Falls at OWA you will see the construction of the brand-new Publix.
This will be a great new grocery store for locals and visitors grabbing groceries before crossing the bridge into Orange Beach.
Tractor Supply Foley - Under Construction
Driving down Highway 59 you will see new construction for a Tractor Supply Store in front of Old Time Pottery.
Grand Riviera RV Park
Grand Riviera RV Park has been built near the Foley Farmers' and Fishermen's Market.
Close to OWA, with easy access to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, the RV park offers large concrete pads, wide roads, full hookups, three pools, shower and restroom facilities, laundry facilities, pickleball courts, a soccer field, playground, WiFi, a fenced dog play area, and more amenities.

New restrooms in Heritage Park
New restrooms are being built in Heritage Park. They will be larger, accessible, and in keeping with the park's other structures.
It is located next to the Foley Railroad Museum.
Foley Entertainment District - Being Planned
The Foley City Council has approved an ordinance to establish an entertainment district in downtown Foley, west of Highway 59.
The entertainment district would allow visitors to leave a bar or restaurant with an alcoholic beverage between 11 am and 11 pm. Any beverages would have to be in a 16-ounce plastic cup with the name of the business on it.
1941 N3N Biplane exhibit coming to the Foley Railroad Museum
The City of Foley has acquired a 1941 N3N Biplace from World War II. The city plans to celebrate its designation as an American World War II Heritage City.
Foley is the only community in Alabama that the National Park Service has named an American World War II Heritage City for the city's part in the war.

Colt Grill BBQ & Spirits will move into the old bakery building in Downtown Foley! They will have a 5,000-square-foot restaurant downstairs, three apartments, and an office upstairs.

Cheeseburger Randy's - Now open
Cheeseburger Randy's is one of the most anticipated new restaurants opening in Foley. Their social media feed has been teasing us for a few months with epic burger creations.

MugShots Grill & Bar
Mugshots Grill and Bar has opened on S. McKenzie St, right off Highway 59. They have burgers, sandwiches, signature salads, hot dogs, pasta plates, and more.

Graham Creek Nature Preserve - Rentable Kayaks
Graham Creek Nature Preserve in Foley announced on FB that they now have rentable kayaks. To rent kayaks, you must download an app and scan the QR code on the kayak locker.
You can rent the kayaks using your phone and pick up a paddle and lifejacket for your rental. This is a great way to get out on the water.
The kayak rentals are $20 for a 2-hour rental.
Vallarta Mexican Restuarant
Vallarta Mexican Restaurant is under new management and has a new menu! The restaurant was newly renovated.
