Thomas Donut and Snack Shop
When we first started visiting Panama City Beach, Florida we kept seeing cute photos of a blue and white doughnut shop with a retro vibe.
I knew we had to visit and now we are frequent Thomas' Donut shop visitors. The old vibe, cute pink box, and epic Florida Gulf Coast views are truly amazing.
They have been serving Gulf Coast locals and visitors since 1971! Right next door, connected to the outdoor seating, you can now enjoy Thomas' Pizza & Cream for pizza and ice cream.
Outdoor Seating
There are a couple of options for the covered deck seating, including picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and comfortable benches.
Make sure to keep someone near your food. The sparrows and local birds have learned to love the food crumbs.
Indoor Seating
There is indoor seating on the left side of the building with picnic tables along wtih tables with long benches.
Thomas Donut and Snack Shop Menu
Thomas Donut's menu is filled with delicious donuts, kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch options.
The donuts are served in their iconic bright pink boxes making them perfect for photos and fun surprise gifts.
Classic Donuts
Raised Donuts - Glazed, chocolate glazed
Filled - Blueberry, raspberry, lemon, apple, custard, strawberry, chocolate cream, white cream, peaches and cream, key lime, and banana cream.
Cake Donuts
Devil's food, Red Velvet, Blueberry, Old-fashioned sour cream, Buttermilk, Chocolate iced buttermilk, cinnamon sugar buttermilk, powdered sugar buttermilk.
Fancy Donuts
White cream long John, Custard Long John, Cinnamon Twist (my favorite), Cinnamon bun, cream-filled chocolate glazed, chocolate twist
Specialty Donuts - Apple fritter, muffins
Kolaches - Smoked sausage & cheese, ham & cheese, Jalapeno Smoked sausage & cheese, and Smoked Brisket & cheese.
Lunch items
Southern Poutine - Giant order of fries topped with fresh pimento cheese and sausage gravy.
Footlong Chili Dogs - add on chili or cheese
Shrimp Melt - grilled shrimp and pimento cheese on tomato brioche
Chicken salad sandwich - House-made chicken salad, mayo, lettuce, and tomato on toasted Jewish rye bread.
Burgers - Hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and chili cheeseburger (single or double)
Kids Menu - The entire menu is perfect for kids!
Gluten-Free - They have gluten-free donuts but they may be cooked in the same fryer as the regular donuts. I would ask about a gf donut and see what they have and how it is cooked.
Vegan - I did not see anything vegan except maybe french fries.
Vegetarian - Lots of options

Hours - Monday through Friday 6 am to 3 pm.
Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.
They close for the holidays from November 14th to December 26th.
Accessibility - There is accessible parking spaces along the side of the building. A ramp leads up to the seating area.
Plus Size Seating - A lot of the seating is picnic tables but they do have some great chairs with a table between the that are really comfortable.
Dress Code/Suggestions - Beach casual
Pets - It looks like pets are ok to spend time on the patio
Parking - There is parking along the side of the building in a gravel lot
