The Pancakery

As you would expect from the name, this great Destin restaurant offers gourmet pancakes and so much more!

We even tried a Pancake Shot, which was a lot of fun. I had never heard of one and now can't wait to make one at home.

I love it when a restaurant lives up to the hopes you have for it. We were really looking forward to delicious pancakes for breakfast.

Thankfully the pancakes at the Pancakery in Destin lived up to our hopes and dreams. They were fluffy and full of flavor.

The hardest thing was deciding which flavor to go with. There were so many great options plus crepes and it took us a while to decide what to try.

Whether you are on an Emerald Coast vacation or local, you will love the tasty omelettes, Belgian waffles, benedicts, and scrumptious pancakes at the Pancakery!

Your taste buds will be very happy.

There are tables and chairs that can fit anywhere from two people to a larger group.

The restaurant is not huge so you may need to wait on busy weekends or during the busy summer season.

Build Your Own Pancakes - Choice of buttermilk of whole grain large gourmet pancakes.

Filling options: Fresh Strawberries, Fresh Blueberries, Fresh Bananas, Fresh Raspberries, Fresh Blackberries, Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter Chips

Gone Bananas Pancakes - Filled with fresh bananas and served with the restaurant Bananas Foster Sauce.

The Bacon Lover - Classic pancakes infused with bacon.

The Chocolatier - Dressed with chocolate syrup over the chocolate chip pancakes.

Healthy Delight Pancakes - For health-conscious pancake lovers, check out these whole-grain pancakes with either strawberries or blueberries.

Sand Dollar Pancakes - Six sand dollar-sized pancakes.

Omelets include build-your-own and some great menu options.

Crab Island - Crumble crab cake with red and green bell peppers and a choice of cheese, all topped with Hollandaise and green onions.

Atomic Bomblette - Hot sausage, jalapenos, green & red peppers, onions, mushrooms, and choice of cheese.

You can also build your omelet with a choice of veggies, protein, and cheese. They have a great classic cheese omelette.

Lunch Menu Highlights

The lunch menu includes burgers, lunch combos, over-stuffed potatoes, salads, delicious sandwiches, and wraps.

Jalapeno Ranch Chicken Wrap - Grilled chicken and jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and spicy ranch.

Salads - Side salad, chef salad, Caesar salad, or house salad.

Hotsy Burger - A blend of hot sausage and ground beef dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on the side. Served with a pickle spear and home fries.

Kids Menu - The kids menu is available for kids 12 and under.

Options include Happy Face pancake, M&M pancake, kids pancake, the bitty breakfast (1 egg, bacon or sausage, and choice of bread), kids french toast, kids waffle, cereal and milk, grilled cheese, or PB&J sandwich.

Gluten-Free - omelets, ham steak and eggs, steak and eggs,

Vegan - fruit cup, salad

Vegetarian - There are a ton of breakfast options available. For lunch there is a grilled cheese or salads (without meat).

The Pancakery The Florida Panhandle's FAVORITE Breakfast Spot!

The owners Ricky and Daryl grew up as friends. They went to school in Chalmette, Louisiana near New Orleans. After vacationing on the Emerald Coast they decided to open the Pancakery in Destin, Florida back in March 2011.

The Panama City Beach location opened in 2017.

Hours - Daily from 7 am to 2 pm

Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.

Accessibility - There is accessible parking near the front entrance of the restaurant with a ramp to the sidewalk.

Within the restaurant we watched both wheelchairs and walkers move between tables pretty easily.

Plus Size Seating - The chairs do no have arms and are comfortable.

Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual

Pets - Pets are not allowed in the restaurant

Parking - There is a fairly good parking lot in front of the restaurant. If you are driving an RV you may need to park down the way from the restaurant.
