Lauria's By the Beach
We first saw Lauria's Italian Beach Bar while flipping through Instagram and knew we had to try it! The food photos drew us in and made us drool a bit.
I am so happy to say that the food matched the photos and tasted fantastic! This small local restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This is a great spot for good food, a casual atmosphere, and to relax during your beach vacation. They have some great card games that we played while waiting for our food.
I can honestly say that we did not know as much 80s trivia as we thought we did.
Indoor Seating
The restaurant is small inside and has a few tables along the back wall. I would suggest sitting on the bench seating if possible.
There are really tiny random chairs on one side that look like they would be good for a small child but painful for an adult. We did not try sitting in them.
There is a small step down to the sitting area.
Indoor Bar
There are counter-height bar stools around the indoor bar.
Outdoor Seating
There are picnic tables available outside in front of the restaurant. There are a few stools outside on the small deck.
Lauria's By the Beach Menu
The menu is filled with so many options it is hard to decide what to eat. They have a separate menu for breakfast which is great.
You can ask to see the breakfast menu during the day if you are craving a waffle or breakfast food.
Menu Highlights - Specialty bagel sandwiches, flatbreads, meat and cheese charcuterie board, and the giant pretzel!
Starters
Bruschetta - sliced and toasted baguette topped with mozzarella cheese, tomato and fresh basil, drizzled with balsamic reduction and olive oil.
Lox on Baguette - sliced and toasted baguette with cream cheese spread piled with lox, red onion, capers, and dill.
Side salad - leafy greens with tomato, onion, croutons, and provolone. You can add salami, ham, or cheese to the salad.
Burrata Salad - fresh arugula with tomatoes and burrata cheese, topped with infused olive oil, pistachios, and a balsamic glaze.
Flatbreads
Pepperoni Flatbread - Marinara Sauce, topped with mozzarella, pepperoni (add ham or salami)
Spicy BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza - Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce, topped with mozzarella, pickled jalapenos, chicken, and red onion.
Buffalo Chicken Flatbread - Buffalo sauce with mozzarella, buffalo chicken, red onions, drizzled with ranch or blue cheese.
BBQ Pulled pork flatbread - BBQ pulled pork topped with mozzarella, red onions, and pickled jalapenos.
Italian sausage supreme - Marinara, mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage crumble, onion, green bell pepper, black olives, and red pepper flakes.
Specialty Bagel Sandwiches
Smoked Tuna & cheddar bagel - toasted bagel with melted cheddar, topped with smoked tuna spread, and sriracha.
Muffuletta bagel sandwich - toasted bagel with ham, Italian dry salami, provolone cheese, all topped with olive tapenade and olive oil.
Hot Italian Beef Sandwich - thinly sliced Italian Beef on a toasted roll with provolone and giardiniera. Served with a side of pasta salad or chips.
Pizza Sub - Slices of pepperoni, salami, and ham covered in melted provolone, mozzarella and marinara sauce along with sun dried tomatoes, topped with Italian herbs and Pepperoncini.
Sandwiches/Subs
Hot Italian Beef - Thinly sliced spicy Italian beef on a toasted roll with provolone, giardiniera, and Italian herbs.
Smoked Gouda BLT - Smoked gouda melted on toasted French bread with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and homemade garlic aioli.
Breakfast Menu Highlights - breakfast sandwiches, specialty bagels, biscuits & gravy, silver dollar pancakes, pearl sugar Belgium waffles, and a breakfast flatbread.
Specialty bagels include
Look its lox - Plain bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, and red onion
Caprese bagel - Plain bagel with fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato slices, basil, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
Ham and cheese bagel, muffuletta bagel, smoked tuna melt bagel, cinnamon toast crunch bagel, bagel and cream cheese, and a peanut butter and jelly bagel.
Breakfast flatbread - gravy, cheese, sausage, bacon, and egg on a flatbread!
Kids Menu - bagels, flatbreads, and the gelato
Gluten-Free - salad, soup, charcuterie boards without crackers
Vegan - side salad without meat or dressing, possibly the hummus with pita bread.
Vegetarian - There were quite a few options for vegetarians. I had a hard time deciding what to get with all of the options.
Signature Cocktails - The bartender can whip up epic cocktails including a Bloody good time with mary, blood orange sorbet mimosa, dirty coffee, and more.

Hours - Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that hours have not changed.
Accessibility - The restaurant is not accessible unless you are ok with eating at the outdoor picnic tables. There are steps leading up to the restaurant and within the restaurant.
We asked while we were at the restaurant and our waitress said that you can call from the picnic tables or wave them down to get your order taken.
Plus Size Seating - The bench seating along the wall inside was pretty comfortable. We both sat on the same side of the table and thankfully the restaurant was not busy while we were there.
The small chairs/stools at the tables looked incredibly painful so we did not try them.
Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual
Pets - Pets are not allowed within the restaurant
Parking - There is a SMALL parking area next to the restaurant. We were told most people park in the open lot on the other side of the Beli Deli and walk over.
