Island Girl is filled with fun shopping along with a top-floor body piercing studio, Old Time photo studio, Henna and Airbrush Tattoo studio, Hair Wraps and Braiding space, and jewelry.
This is a Gulf Shores store you can easily wander around in and find something fun to bring home with you. The Old Time Photos Studio is one of my favorite Unique Things to do In Gulf Shores. The photos turn out amazing and are a fun unique souvenir.

Island Girl has really fun boho, hippy clothing including Grateful Dead looks, hacky sacks, purses, and more. If you love tie-dye you will find something you need to bring home at Island Girl.
Henna
Have you ever tried henna? The Henna Studio at Island Girl has a ton of great options to choose from. You can do a full hand design or smaller pieces.
They also do airbrush tattoos in fun designs.
Island Girl Braids & Hair Wraps
If you have been looking for hair wraps or braids in Gulf Shores, you can find a full station at Island Girl next to the Henna and gift shop.
Old Time Photos
Old Time Photos Gulf Shores is sooo much fun! I visited as part of my 50 before 50 adventures on the Gulf Coast and loved it. My friend and I giggled the entire time and the photos turned out great.
I would go back over and over again to play dress-up and take fun photos. They are family-friendly, and you can bring a group in for a unique family or group photo! Also a great couples activity. A photo memory that is unique to your time in Gulf Shores.
The Old Time Photo costumes are plus-size friendly. They are sized to be able to adjust to each person. The owner is amazing! Her mom makes the costumes, and she will help you find the best one to fit the photo you are looking for.
