Crystal Shores West sits on the Gulf of Mexico on West Beach Boulevard in the heart of Gulf Shores, close enough to walk to popular local restaurants, far enough down West Beach to feel like you have some breathing room.

The 14-story Gulf-front complex was built in 2006 with floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies, and amazing Gulf views.

We stayed in Unit 906 with Beachball Properties for a staycation here in Gulf Shores, and it was fantastic. We surprised my mother-in-law with a getaway so she could relax on the balcony and watch the Gulf. Unit 906 was perfect with two bedrooms, a relaxing living room, and a fantastic balcony with comfortable rocking chairs. The views from the balcony made it hard to leave.

Condo Types

Crystal Shores West has 14 floors with two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom units available. All units are individually owned and furnished. Floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies with Gulf views are standard features throughout the building.

Two Bedroom, Two Bath - Sleeps up to 6 or 7 depending on bedding configuration. Gulf-front with private balcony, full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer. Approximately 1,250 to 1,368 square feet.

Three Bedroom, Three Bath - Sleeps up to 8. Corner units available with sweeping views of the Gulf from floor-to-ceiling windows. Balcony, full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer. Approximately 1,531 square feet.

Four Bedroom, Four Bath - Sleeps up to 10 to 14 depending on bedding. Penthouse-level units available with over 2,600 square feet, balconies with 497 square feet of outdoor space, a wet bar, and luxury upgrades including granite countertops, crown molding, and jacuzzi tubs.

Crystal Shores West Amenities

Crystal Shores West condo building offers direct beach access, Gulf front balcony views, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, close to local Gulf Shores restaurants.

Direct Beach Access

There is direct beach access from Crystal Shores West. You will need the gate code to get through the beach gate. I was able to get it from the security guard. Make sure you have your wristband or your reservation on your phone.

There are hoses near the gate to help with washing off the sand before heading into the condo.

Make sure to check the daily beach warning flags before entering the Gulf.

Outdoor Pool - Hot Tub

Crystal Shores West has a zero entry pool for the top area and then stairs leading into the deeper area. There is a hot tub located next to the outdoor pool.

Indoor Pool

There is a great indoor pool with lounge chairs on the pool deck.

Exercise Room/Gym

Crystal Shores West fitness center has some of the best views on the Gulf. Treadmills, eliptical and bikes have a gorgeous view of the white sand beach and Gulf.

Game Room

There is a fun game room at Crystal Shores West with pool tables and a foosball machine. There are board games available for guests to play.

Barbecue Area

There is a barbecue area under the buiding providing shade while cooking. There are a couple of charcoal barbecues along with a picnic table so you can relax while your food is cooking.
