Shed barbecue is a great experience that you will truly enjoy! Legendary blues music, cold beer, and epic barbecue sauce are just a few of the reasons you will love it.
When my husband was researching the things he had to check out while we explored Coastal Mississippi for the first time he came across the Shed BBQ.
Once he found The Shed Barbecue all I heard about was how excited he was to try everything. I am pretty sure he spent a week trying to decide which menu items he had to try during the 1st visit.
He landed on the 16 hour brisket and Baby Back Ribs. To say he loved them is not a strong enough terminology. The flavor was unbelievable.

There are picnic tables inside along with a small accessible seating area with chairs at a counter top.
Outdoor Seating
There are picnic tables spread around the property including by the crawfish shed.
You can also enjoy seating on a boardwalk area near the kids play area. It is eclectic and fun!
The Shed Barbecue & Blues Joint Menu
The Shed in Mississippi offers Pecan wood smoked BBQ by the pound, BBQ Plates with 2 sides, BBQ sandwiches, sides, and desserts.
Menu Highlights - Baby Back ribs, Pulled pork, 16-hour brisket, BBQ chicken wings, chicken, MS Made Sausage, and Smoked Turkey Breast.
Sides include potato salad (with bacon), sweet potato casserole, Daddy-O's Cole Slaw, Mamma Mia's Mac Salad, G-Maw's Baked Beans, Collard Greens,
Kids Menu - Children's portions are available with a baby back rib plate, BBQ plate, grilled cheese plate, hot dog, and mac & cheese plate.
Gluten-Free - The menu designates which items are gluten-free, including all of the Pecan Wood Smoked BBQ, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked beans, and collard greens.
Vegan - There is fried pickles and fried okra but I am not sure what else the fryer is used for.
Vegetarian - sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, mac salad, grilled cheese plate

The Shed is an experience. It is hard to describe this restaurant other than a compilation of a lot of randomness with really great barbecue.
Things to know when planning a visit to The Shed

Hours - Please confirm with the restaurant their current hours.
Store - You can purchase Shed BBQ Sauce, t-shirts and souvenirs along with a little bit of everything you can imagine.
Accessibility - There is an accessible area with a low counter or picnic tables for seating. There is a ramp leading to the restrooms. The ramp does go up a level or two so that is something you will want to be prepared for.
The walkway and parking lot are gravel leading into the restaurant. It was pretty even while we were there but if you have any mobility restrictions make sure you are prepared for gravel.
Plus Size Seating - Most of the tables are picnic tables. There is an accessible area with tables against a counter that are easier to sit in.
Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual
