As soon as we saw The Lady May's menu, we knew we had to plan a visit. Once we tried their amazing brunch dishes, we were already planning a visit for lunch.
Hello yum! I need you to order the biscuit platter and waffle board for brunch. The biscuits are delicious, and I regret not getting more to bring home as leftovers.
We ordered way to much food for brunch and I was so happy we did. I honestly would have ordered a bit more for leftovers it was that delicious.
My husband and I battled over the last waffle. That waffle board is what brunch dreams are made of. When the server presented it with chocolate chips, syrups, nutella, peanut butter, and fresh fruit I swooned a little bit.

I need you to be prepared to have a hard time deciding what to order off the Lady May menu. Then once you order and see plates go by to other tables realize that you want everything.
We ordered way to much food because we couldn't make up our mind the menu is so good. I would do it again and again to have delicious leftovers.
Brunch Menu Highlights
May's Brunch Board - Belgian waffles, 9 grain toast, bacon jam, sausage, cheddar cheese, fruit, boiled eggs, house jelly, cream cheese, and honey butter!
Waffle Board (get this) - Belgian waffles, peanut butter, nutella, fruit, chocolate chips, and honey butter. You can also add fried chicken.
Biscuits & Jelly (get 2 of these) - 4 biscuits, whipped honey butter, strawberry jelly (so good), blueberry jalapeno jelly and mango habanero pepper jelly.
Biscuit Monica - Biscuit, crawfish Monica, sausage
Shank n Egg - Gouda grits, braised beef shank, 2 fried eggs, and a biscuit.
Ham, egg, and cheese biscuit - Ham, fried egg, cheddar cheese, served with gouda grits.
Yogurt and fruit parfait - This is a big bowl! granola, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, and yogurt.
Lunch and Dinner Menu highlights
Snack board - sausage, pepperoni, gouda, goat cheese with honey, cheddar, pickled veggies, bacon jam, mango sriracha hummus, sliced pear, candied pecans, and bagel chips.
Mississippi Slug Burger - yellow mustard and pickles served with shoestring fried or pickled fried okra (extra).
Bacon Jam Burger - bacon jam, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and pepper jack cheese.
Braised Beef sandwich - Braised beef shank, pepper jack, onion, peppers, garlic aioli, on French bread.
White BBQ Chicken - Chicken, gouda, bacon, red onions, pickles, white BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun
Honey butter fried chicken - Fried chicken (leg/thigh), whipped honey butter, baked macaroni, and a biscuit.
Crawfish Monica - Crawfish tails, pasta, cream sauce, fresh cheddar biscuit.
Santa Margherita Flatbread - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, tomato, and basil.

Vegan - salads with a few modifications, possibly the hummus avocado sandwich, hummus and avocado toast.
Vegetarian - salads, Santa margherita pizza, hummus avocado sandwich, biscuits and jelly, waffle board, hummus and avocado toast, yogurt and fruit parfait.
Signature Cocktails - The signature cocktails have amazing names that make me smile each time I see them.
Jolene - 1800 Tequila, muddled jalapeno and pineapple, pineapple juice, and sour.
Pauline - Rum Haven Coconut Rum, pineapple, and grapefruit juice.
Mildred - 4 roses bourbon, honey simple syrup, and bitters.
Lady May - Tito's, strawberry puree, sour mix, and basil.

Accessibility - The restaurant is on one floor with indoor and outdoor seating. There is a fair amount of space between tables and chairs. We saw multiple people move through the restaurant with both walkers and a wheelchair.
