Port St. Joe is known for laid-back Forgotten Coast charm and fresh Gulf seafood, which makes The Italian Kitchen a bit of a surprise, in the best way.
This is scratch Italian food in a small, warm supper club setting, and it has developed a devoted following among both locals and visitors who keep coming back for the handmade pasta, the deep dish pizza, and a Thursday night couples dinner that books up fast every week.

The Italian Kitchen Port St Joe
Chef Anne runs the kitchen, and the food reflects someone who genuinely cares about what ends up on your plate. Portions are generous, ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a supper club tucked into a small Florida Panhandle town.
We would go to the Italian Kitchen Supper Club every single time we are in Port St. Joe it is that good.

The Italian Kitchen operates as two connected concepts sharing the same address block in downtown Port St. Joe. The Supper Club at 108 First Street is the dine-in restaurant, a small, intimate space with the feel of a proper Italian supper club.
Next door at 101 Monument Avenue is the original delivery and takeout kitchen, where you can order online or by phone and pick up or have your food delivered.
The dine-in menu and the pickup and delivery menu are slightly different, so if you are planning to visit the Supper Club, expect a fuller experience than what you will find online. Both sides of the operation are run by the same team and reflect the same commitment to handmade Italian food.
The restaurant is small. Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended, especially on weekends and Thursday evenings.

Indoor Seating
The Supper Club dining room is cozy and unpretentious in the way that the best neighborhood Italian restaurants always are. The space is small enough that you feel like you are part of the evening rather than just passing through it. Tables are close together, the room has a great energy.
We ended up talking with two other couples who were enjoying dinner and it was fantastic.

Outdoor Seating
Outdoor seating is available and a great option on the kind of breezy Forgotten Coast evenings that Port St. Joe does well. On a beautiful day, this is where you want to be, relaxed, unhurried, with great food in front of you and no reason to rush.
