Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier

The Pensacola Pier at Casino Beach is amazing and well worth visiting, even if you don't plan on fishing.

Walking out on the Pensacola Beach Pier offers amazing views of the crystal clear turquoise waters and the white sand beach.

The pier recently underwent extensive repairs just in time for the summer season. Strong waves and wind from Hurricane Sally dislodges deck panels and damaged railings.

The repairs included adding additional benches, viewing scopes, and fishing line receptacles. There is a big focus on keeping marine life safe and making sure that fishing line and other garbage are cleaned up and not falling into the Gulf.

Sea turtles, manatees, rays, sharks, and other marine life are often seen from the pier, and locals and visitors are asked to do their part to keep them safe.

This 1,470 foot long pier is one of our top things to do in Pensacola Beach, Florida.

Make sure to wear sunscreen and be prepared for the heat and direct sun especially during our busy summer months.

Pier fishing is incredible popular from the Pensacola Beach Gulf Fishing Pier.

Fish species depend on the time of year and what is migrating by the pier. Ask at the pier office to see what has been caught recently. They are incredibly helpful.

No Florida fishing licenses are required to fish from the pier. Fishing gear can be rented from the pier shop.

They sell bait and tackle at the pier shop.

No shark fishing is allowed from the pier. Visitors should always be aware that there may be hooks and lines in the area.

Check with the bait and tackle shop staff to see if there are any upcoming fishing tournaments. Beginner and experienced anglers will enjoy fishing from the pier.

Parking  - There is a large parking area for Casino Beach and the Pensacola Pier. One thing to know is the parking is one way so will want to make sure you don't get pushed out of the parking lot. If you are not familiar with the parking lot make sure to look at the street signs and arrows.
