We love seeing everyone enjoying the designted dog park beaches with their furry friends.
It is important to make sure you are in the designated dog area. There are signs right when you come onto the beach that show which direction is pet friendly.
This beautiful beach has easy access to the Gulf waters for playing in the waves and cooling down.
Please make sure to bring plenty of fresh water and other supplies for your family dog. The hot humid weather can get to everyone.
There are no showers or rinse off areas so be prepared for sandy wet puppies.

Pensacola Dog Beach West
Location - Beach Access 21.5, on Fort Pickens Road before you enter Gulf Islands National Seashore.
The Pensacola Beach West Dog Park is a great white sand beach with space to relax.
Just past the last condos before you enter Gulf Island National Seashore. The west end park has a boardwalk over the sand dunes provides easy access to the beach.

Pensacola Dog Beach East
Location - Beach Access 28.5, on Via de Luna, first parking area past Portofino Towers.
The Pensacola Beach East Dog Park has a boardwalk leading over the sand dunes that is easy to navigate.
The white sand beach is gorgeous!

Pensacoal Dog Beach Rules and Regulations
Hours - Sunrise to Sunset daily except from (May 1 - October 31st) when it is 7 am to sunset daily because of turtle season.
Leashes - Dogs must be on leashes less than 8 feet in length at all times including in the water. Dogs are not allowed off-leash while on the beach.
Proper Tags - A current rabies tag must be on the dogs collar
Doggie Bags - While there are normally doggie bags available before entering the beach just in case please bring your own. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. There are disposable bins in each of the parking areas.
Beach Safety - Please be beach safety aware! Check the current Pensacola Beach Flags to know if there are riptides/rip currents, high tide, or surf conditions, dangerous marine life including jellyfish and other wildlife.
Stay on the boardalk leading over to the beach from the parking area. This helps protect the sand dunes.
Animal Welfare Issues - Call Escambia County Animal Control at 850-595-0097
These Pensacola Dog Beaches are the only areas desingated for dogs to be on the beach. Casino Beach and other public beaches do not allow dogs.

Accessibility - There is a ramp leading up and over the sand dunes. Once you reach the sand there is not accessibility mats.

Parking - There are parking areas in front of both of the dog beaches in Pensacola Beach.

Sneaky Tiki Bar - Located inside the Pensacola Beach RV Resort, They have a Waggy Wednesday happy hour benefiting the Pensacola Humane Society.

Cafe Nola Pensacola Beach - Well-behaved dogs can sit on the covered deck with their owners.
A couple of websites list Peg Leg Pete's as dog-friendly but after calling them they confirmed they do not have any pet areas.
