Over Easy Cafe

The Over Easy Cafe has been a fixture on Sanibel Island for years and continues to be one of the most recommended breakfast spots on the island. After Hurricane Ian, they moved to their new home at 2340 Periwinkle Way in the Village Shops, and the new location is comfortable, well-designed, and easy to find.

Over Easy Cafe is one of those places where you genuinely have a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounds good. There is a daily specials board, fresh-baked goods every morning.

I NEED you to order an orange cinnamon roll. If you love sweets I suggest ordering two for the table. I would drive to Sanibel just to enjoy a warm orange cinnamon roll at Over Easy Cafe. They are that good!

Indoor Seating

The indoor dining room is comfortable with tables spread out enough that you can actually have a conversation.

There are regular tables and chairs available along with bar seating with taller chairs.

Outdoor Seating

Over Easy Cafe has a pet-friendly outdoor patio, so if you are traveling with your dog this is a great spot. The outdoor seating area is a nice option on a gorgeous Florida Gulf Coast morning.

French Toast - The Most Toast (3 slices Texas toast, cinnamon egg batter), Stuffed French Toast (layered with sweet cream cheese filling and your choice of topping), French Toast and Egg Platter. Topping choices include Oreo, banana, chocolate chip, pecan, blueberry, strawberry, and coconut.

Right next door to the restaurant in Suite C-1 is The Coop, Over Easy Cafe's merchandise shop. It is a fun stop on your way out and a great way to bring a little piece of Sanibel home with you.

The Coop carries Over Easy Cafe Tervis Tumblers, hats, t-shirts including an Aztec chicken shirt, 1000-piece puzzles, ornaments, and a variety of other gifts and souvenirs.
